Kacey Musgraves - 252 points
Miss Kacey got me singing to her sweet voice all November and December long and she just got yet another hit with the Easy Remix, looking forward to listen to her album with even more attention. Peak: #6 (6 weeks on the chart, 4 in the top10) - still charting at #11

An ex-UK reality show contestant turns DJ with two mega bops in 2020. Sure? Lonely and his MNEK collab slapped my summer and Joel provided a ecstasy-like sound I was missing. Peak: #10 (12 weeks on the chart, 1 in the top10)

Zara Larsson - 260 points
Another year for Zara in my charts, she had her peak last year when she released her discography peak 'God All the Time' and she still followed up well with 'Love Me Land' and some occasional throwbacks to her earlier discography. the rest didn't impress me at the slightest. Is it worrying that I'm already revisiting her discography in a "where is she now" manner? Peak: #6 (10 weeks on the chart, 2 in the top10)

What a banger of a songstress. Love her voice, her music style and I can't wait to uncover more from her. Her GRAMMY-nominated KAYTRANADA bop (not many people have that..) was among the biggest hits of the year, and rightfully so. Peak: #11 (10 weeks on the chart)

Another artist with an early 2020 boost, I'm not gonna lie, ROXANNE stayed for a good while in my top10 and so did Arizona on the top50. Still, he spent many weeks around the 30s and 40s.. Roxanneeee roxaaaaaneeee Peak: #8 (12 weeks on the chart, 2 in the top10)

Anderson. Paak - 265 points
For years now, I have always tried to get into Paak since everyone raved him to hell and back. This year, his Kendrick Black Panther collab FINALLY hit with me and the rest was history. Both Lockdown and Jet Black are among the grooviest songs I've heard all year. Nice one. Peak: #14 (13 weeks on the chart)

Maybe you'll notice more in this set, but I'm a sucker for alt Two Door-like bands. Jammed to their album for the better part of Q1 and it has landed Bad Suns at #68 on the list without a top10 peak. Peak: #14 (9 weeks on the chart)

The power of Ego Death. Not only did I love the song, but it was powerful enough to make one of those constant faceless rappers a mainstay for 13 weeks. Hopefully, Ty Dolla Sign continues to surprise. Peak: #16 (13 weeks on the chart)

Arctic Monkeys are pretty historic and dear to me. so I genuinely came back to their best album ever this year and was dumbfounded, as I again found myself obsessed with some of the album tracks. Made in the AM is legendary, and it has landed Arctic Monkeys at #76 in 2020 despite being a 2013 album! Peak: #6 (9 weeks on the chart, 4 in the top10)

Milky Chance - 288 points
A new maximum of 18 weeks hit, with another huge band in 2019, I love them a lot, that just hearing recurrents from 2019 was more than enough to almost make it to the top70. I legit like every song on their last album, and that's rare for me since I'm kinda picky.

Taylor Swift - 313 points folklore is a career-best. Sadly, it didn't provide miss Swift that many charting points since it didn't have a particular good longevity since it's not the kind of music I hear a LOT for a long time (acoustic folksy sound that is). If you couple Mood, a longevity hit, with a Clean Bandit-Mabel collab and a faceless bop CITY OF ANGELS, you get a #56 for someone who lacks any sort of artistic identity (therefore as an artist doesn't standout) yet serves hits throughout the year. Peak: #13 (14 weeks on the chart)
