The major label debut album from Parker McCollum, Gold Chain Cowboy, will be released on July 30th. 1. Wait Outside [Parker McCollum, Randy Rogers & Jon Randall] 2. Dallas (feat. Danielle Bradbery) [Parker McCollum, Randy Rogers & Paul Wade Bowen] 3. To Be Loved By You [Parker McCollum & Rhett Akins] 4. Drinkin' [Parker McCollum & Lee Miller] 5. Falling Apart [Parker McCollum, Randy Rogers, Jon Randall & Miranda Lambert] 6. Heart Like Mine [Parker McCollum, Ben West & Tony Lane] 7. Why Indiana [Parker McCollum, Erik Dylan & Randy Montana] 8. Rest Of My Life [Parker McCollum] 9. Pretty Heart [Parker McCollum & Randy Montana] 10. Never Loved You At All [Parker McCollum, Brian Kelley & Corey Crowder] (The album cover is on previous posts and since it doesn't look very good I won't repost it) Very, very disappointing to not see "Young Man's Blues" on there. Basically sticks a fork in any chance it had of being a single. Shame, since it might be my favorite song of 2021. Still really looking forward to this album (awful artwork aesthetic aside), and excited to see so many new songs and not just a rehash of his EP with a few new songs tacked on.

July 30th is THAT day when everyone wants to release their albums Yeah this Friday we have Lady A, Gary Allan, Brian Kelley and Jimmie Allen all releasing albums lol Only Gary Allan is coming out on CD. Disappointing, especially Jimmie since he already put most of the songs out digitally.

I do get why not a lot of these albums or many albums lately have been on physical CDs. Streaming. I feel like music is now so consumed by Spotify, YouTube, etc it has kind of make buying CDs obsolete. I know that for example last time I visited Walmart they didn't have any section for CDs in the store.

I'm more frustrated that wen they do come out on CD it's weeks or months after the digital release. Again Gary Allan is doing the right thing and releasing it at one time.

This is an absolutely tragic album cover and title. I can't believe it's real.

That is a hell of a song with so much hit potential... Although, it is always possible that he will put out a Deluxe edition soon with "Young Man's Blues" on it!

Nobody asked for a 25-song album from Trace Adkins. 🤐
Can we get some better artists to release more albums of this length? I loved when Miranda did it, lol.

I mean nobody asked for a 25 Trace Adkins album, but I fail to see it as a bad thing as I imagine his fans are super pumped.

Where are the previews for the new Trace Adkins album at? Also it's nice to see so many great songwriters on there. Excited to see Tim Mensy on the list of writers.

Reposting to show that the album cover for Parker McCollum's new album has changed slightly a bit but not by much. His name has more of the font that was used for the name of the album and also By was dropped and just using the name now. Source: MusicRow

I LOVE that Parker has a co-write with Miranda on his debut album. YMB not being included is still a travesty whether it was on the EP or not. And don’t get me started on that album cover and its title. What a tragedy

I am LEGITIMATELY deceased @ them making the most trivial of edits to that cover artwork. Kanenrá:ke's post sent me, lmao. And, yeah, the absence of "Young Man's Blues" -- which is without a DOUBT his best song to date -- is just making this whole thing even more of a mess than it already is. I do like that the album isn't bogged down with too many songs he's already released, but with the final tracklisting only being ten songs.... there's really no excuse why he couldn't have at least slipped YMB onto there. The way his career is being handled right now definitely makes me skeptical of him having longterm mainstream success as "To Be Loved by You" still remains... borderline annoying melodically to me, and the artwork/title of his debut just seems totally off-putting and not fitting w/ his style of music, honestly.

I love that Elle King will be on here too as I always felt like Wanda was probably a big influence on her.

Do you think there’s hope of Faith Hill releasing another album or is her career pretty much done? It’s been 16 years since her last album

It’s been 16 years since her last album I don't understand why she stopped releasing music in the first place. Fireflies did quite well on the charts so I would have thought her record label would have wanted to keep the momentum going but I guess not. I also want a new album from her. I haven't heard of her doing anything since the duet album with Tim was released. He still releases new albums so maybe Faith just isn't passionate about it anymore while Tim is. Who knows anymore.

It saddens me, but I’ve just about given up on new solo Faith music ever being released. I think she’s actually gone and retired, without making an announcement like Barbara Mandrell did.

I'm sure her record label would have loved to release another album because as you said Fireflies did very well. I think it was more of an issue of Faith not wanting to more than Warner (her label at the time) not wanting to as Faith was the last female from Warner to see massive success up until Gabby Barrett did over the past few years. For some reason I feel like she will return for at least one album; kind of like The Chicks did last year. She cared enough to get a new record deal with Sony and stayed with them even when Tim left, so I feel like she somewhat still cares about music. I would've hated to be a diehard fan of hers though because she really left her fans out to dry the past two decades.
