The new Dan + Shay album will be released before September 9th. "hi, it's gonna be a good week :)" D+S Looks like we will get some new music this week👀 Actually I think it’s going to be a music video for “Glad You Exist”. They just posted a teaser for what seems to be a music video anyways. http://instagram.com/p/CRPqjd6hPH2

I was wondering if it was a part 2 myself because in the teaser someone is pushing the piano from the “Tequila” music video.

Oh Toby! He needs to stop music— his career is pretty much dead because his material in the past 10 years has been mediocre

I know it's playing the game at the moment, but D+S are really including a nearly 2 year old single (at the time of the album release) and one that's been out for a year on this album?? Talk about goosing the numbers.

Talk about goosing the numbers. I definitely get that, but I really appreciate when artists do this. I really don’t like having a standalone singles that aren’t attached to an album, so I like it when everything gets included on the latest album.

If an artist releases a hit single it really needs to be on an album.

If an artist releases a hit single it really needs to be on an album. Drives me crazy when released singles don't end up on an album if the same label releases the next album. Even if it barely charts it really should be on the next album. Add it on at the end if they have to. Sara Evans "Feels Just Like A Love Song" was supposed to be the lead single for "Stronger" but was dropped almost right away, but eventually ended up on one her comp discs, Playlist. Billy Currington got to 30 with "Tangled Up". But wasn't on the next album. It did eventually get put on his "Icon" album but that was also years later. Wal-Mart used to let you create custom CD's and that's how I ended up with several songs that were never on albums. I miss that but get why they quit doing that.

Talk about goosing the numbers. It still gets a ton of airplay so it makes sense. It's their most played song here.

I just think those were perfectly fine as standalone singles. When they were released they weren't tied to any album so to see them tacked on to the end of an album that comes out so much later irritates me. If they were released within a year of the album coming out, sure. But both of those songs are 1+ years old already. It's not just them though, I hate this practice in general of goosing album numbers by including singles like this. I'll just add this to my list of annoyances with releases lately such as the months to a year later release of a deluxe album.

Wait, were we expecting "you should probably go to bed" to not make the album? I just assumed this whole time that it was the lead single from an album that they were taking awhile to release It totally makes sense to be on the album, even using the current release timeline. "10,000 Hours" is more of a head scratcher though, for sure.

Coming in here super quickly to say that Dolly turns everything into gold but since Sam Williams is already gold, she will be turning that song into diamonds. VERY excited, not just for Sam’s album, but for that song with her in particular.
*break from writing ends; goes off to do more of it*

/?d=n Ashland Craft — Travelin’ Kind — Sept 3 A bit disappointed that “Two Wildflowers and a Box of Wine” didn’t make it on the debut. Was just about to post I’m so excited for this album. I’ve gotten the opportunity to see her perform and have met her twice and had a conversation with her. She’s very down to earth good person I really hope to see her succeed. Just wish we knew what single is going to radio. Surely she’s going to have a radio single right?

I'm very surprised they're not trying a single from Ashland. I've been hearing her name for a few years and how much potential she has and the roll out with no single is a little weird.
