Upcoming Albums - 2021 & 2022

A lot of album covers these days are bland. I don’t think a lot of singers put much thought into them.

Anyways, Blake doesn't like doin photoshoots, and his album covers are boring. He isn't nearly the only one that this is true of. That said, I'll give the album a listen, his actual albums tend to include a few songs that are more traditional country.

And funny you don’t share the way you continued to come at me even after I apologized to you. I don’t keep tabs on you so don’t flatter yourself. I recognized you when you replied to my comment. If you live on this board that’s good for you but it doesn’t mean that your opinion is superior to mine or any one else’s. Chill a bit.

I love it when people call things “toxic” just because they don’t like them If you think the country section of Pulse is toxic because the majority of the regular posters here don’t usually care for Blake or disagree with your taste, then maybe this form is not the best place for you. However, there are plenty of posters here who have a diverse taste in music and several like the bigger male artists in the genre like Blake. Blake is one of my least favorite artists because I feel his singles are usually bland or obnoxious, however, “Nobody But You” was one of my favorite singles of 2019 and I likely gave that praise to Blake somewhere on this forum. Blake is not immune to criticism here. I’d suggest if you’re going to stick around here, I’d suggest not getting all up in arms when someone says something you disagree with. In both these cases, Indulge only “aggressively” (as you put it) responded back to you after you first attacked him. People don’t take kindly to that in general.

I do welcome you to stick around and post your thoughts more often. I’d love to hear more about why you love Blake so much and what it is that makes him special to you. Maybe the rest of us are just missing something!


Anyway, to Jordan’s example of Brad, I LOVE Paisley and his album covers almost always are top-notch. His first two are definitely on the more boring side, as is This Is Country Music, but the rest of his are unique and definitely good artwork. It’s not just the women who deliver visually with album covers!

He teased it on his Instagram a couple days ago...if he himself is pulling an elaborate joke, then that's cruelly clever. But UMG even commented on it with the eyes emoji, and Alan's post had a hashtag spelling out the same title that Darkest Hour shared.

Oh awesome! I get it now lol. I’m a little slow today. I was thinking you meant they were some kind of code that the mods were joking about the album. The only reason I had a lot of hope was a twitter post I saw that seemed like somethings coming. Anyway, so excited for the album!!

OMG "Where Have You Gone" is absolutely phenomenal! Alan has knocked it out of the park with this song. Gonna listen to the other two songs now. Cannot wait for this album!!!

I would absolutely love to hear the title track on country radio today, as it is such a beautiful song and so true for people who love real country music. I think "Way Down in My Whiskey" could make an impact if given the chance with the little bit more receptiveness there's been at radio for more actual country sounding music. All of them take you straight back to the heyday, but that one is one where I could have seen it being #1 on radio. Maybe it's just me. Not gonna lie, I'm a huge AJ fan and always have been, so probably a little biased :)

I sure did not expect to see Walker back on a major label and with a top 50 hit at country radio in 2021. Looking forward to this!
