#3 11
11 is leaving at #3 and bigfan101 becomes the first participant to lose his #1. This leaves us the two singles for the top 2. Also, the first song in this RD that has a video. This has all the #1 ~ #12 rankers, except for #9 and #11, so yeah, nobody placed 11 at #11 lol. CLD's ThoughtI really enjoy chronological storytelling songs (the king of this genre is She Was by Mark Chesnutt). While growing up is becoming a common topic in the country music scene, it's usually about "a boy becomes a man" or "turning 21". This song, however, is about Cassadee's parents' divorce and she is looking back at her feelings when she was 7, 10, 11, and 13. The acoustic production is perfectly reflecting her feelings she had when the divorce happened at 11 and how she grew up since then. One thing I felt was that she was 13 at the end of the second verse, and I wish the storyline kept developing through the bridge and the last chorus. This would have been a great single choice, if Pope had been going for a ballad song.

#2 I Wish I Could Break Your Heart
#1 Wasting All These Tears
Total: 18 Average: 1.29 Std Dev: 0.82 (Lowest!) Chart Performance: #10 in Country Airplay/#5 in Hot CountryKris Kringle - 1 LBTrocks - 1 toomuchboy - 1 bboat11 - 1 tim - 1 James - 1 castleoblivion26 - 1 SHOOTER - 1 zaclord 🌈 - 1 🌺CountryLineDancer - 1 .indulgecountry - 1 ClevelandRox - 1dgarcia3377 - 2 bigfan101 - 4 Sooo, Wasting All These Tears completely killed this RD! 12 out of 14 participants put this at #1 with average of 1.29, Std of 0.83!! (Is this one of the lowest avg/Std in the history of RD? Not sure cuz I'm relatively new, but I'm curious to see what other RDs have this kind of low Std/avg. The lowest I remember is castleoblivion26 's Shuffle #5, Martina had 1.91 Avg). Also, castleoblivion26 recorded 4 straight perfect rankings from #4 to #1. CLD's ThoughtI Wish I Could Break Your Heart was definitely a strong single choice, if not as great as WATT. It deserved to be a bigger hit. WATT is an absolutely beautiful masterpiece and by far the best material by Cassadee, and good to see that many of y'all felt the same about this song. From Lyrics, melody, to the production, this song is impeccable. I'm willing to say that this song has one of the strongest chorus melodies of all the songs from 2010s to me. While this song definitely set a high expectation for her, this whole album was great and did not disappoint us at all.

Final CommentThank you everyone for participating! It was a fun RD and great opportunity to re-confirm how amazing Cassadee's debut was. I'm going to open RD for Cassadee's second album "Stages" this December, so stay tuned! Meanwhile, Lindsay Ell RD is closing soon, so don't forget to submit your list! Also, I am opening another album RD tomorrow, and it's May (odd month), so it's gonna be male artist this time; Parmalee - Feels Like Carolina. I know this won't be as popular as Cassadee, but hope to get a decent # of participants again.Final Result1. Wasting All These Tears (18) 2. I Wish I Could Break Your Heart (37) 3. 11 (77) 4. Easier To Lie (89) 5. This Car (96) 6. You Hear A Song (98) 7. Champagne (100) 8. Proved You Wrong (113) 9. One Song Away (117) 10. Good Times (117) 11. Edge Of A Thunderstorm (130) 12. The finish this rankdown deserved!!!!! "Wasting All These Tears" just has such an amazing melody and delivery It's literally like Avril came over to country and tried to give us her wigs!!! I never get tired of it. SO glad to see it become a winner! It made it to #7 in the 2014 year-end rd, which surprised me at the time. Clearly it's well-liked on Pulse, and this MASSIVE blowout just affirms it! 🌺CountryLineDancer I'll let you know how this stacks up against the all-time biggest winners later once I've had a chance to update my stats spreadsheet :) "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart" was the perfect followup single. It didn't seem to be recognized as such at the time, but it has honestly aged sooooooo well to me.

The only correct choice for a winner here! WATT is iconic.

Oh Cassadee is over? good haha
I'll do Parmalee just to help with turn out, plus I've never actually listened to the album so perfect time to give it a shot.

Awesome about Parmalee, hoping to get around 11 lists, considering 3 of their singles' decent performance in the Year-End RDs.

She's one of like two female artists in the history of country music that he inexplicably hates Her voice is always too sharp for me it’s not inexplicable haha And there’s others not big on Gabby Barrett either she only has 3 songs I liked. About the same with Cassadee. I didn’t care for Rachel Farley or Bailey Bryan so thankfully they never took off. And Krista Marie’s solo singles were dreadful. Your point still stands though haha

1. #1: “Carolina.” #13: “Musta Had A Good Time 2. Most: idk. Least: ‘Good Time’ 3. Sure 🙂 I’m not too familiar with it tho. 4. I hope “Already Callin’ You Mine” is in the top 2 (and wins) cuz it’s my favorite song these guys have ever done.
