This was the second single and title track from Jo Dee Messina's third album. It was originally recorded by Tina Arena, one of the song's writers, and the original was a #2 hit in Australia in 1997, also charting in the UK. Jo Dee's version was released in 2000, and reached #2 Country, #17 Adult Contemporary, and just missing the top 40 of the Hot 100 (42). This was one of my favorite songs growing up, and I still really like it and its parent album.

If I remember correctly this was the follow-up to her massive No.1 "That's the Way." I started listening to her because Shania Twain said many times in interviews and award shows that Jo Dee was her favourite Country singer. This is a lovely remake of Tina's AUS hit.

This was a really nice, unexpected cover. I was a fan of Tina Arena's original.

One of my favorite Jo Dee Messina songs. Her vocal on this is just so smooth and powerful. She's a really underrated country star, especially for her vocal prowess. Girl could SANG.

I've liked Jo Dee since "Heads Carolina...". That being said, this is my least favourite of her big hits. It has grown on me over time, though.
