I like falsettos as flourishes, but generally the more they're used throughout a song continuously, the bigger the chance of me not liking it. Chile yes! This is the reason I dislike "This Woman's Work" by Maxwell and R&B heads look at me like I'm crazy. ETA: Voting out "There's Nothing Better Than Love" already truly proves y'all is HOMOPHOBIC!! ::calls police::

32. Love Is a House - The Force MD's
"Love Is a House" was the second of two Hot 100 entries for this group from Staten Island, and their only soul charttopper. Sadly, most of the members are no longer with us, including lead singer Antoine "T.C.D." Lundy, who passed away from ALS in 1998.
Stats Chart Entry: July 4, 1987 Peak Date: September 5, 1987 Weeks At #1: 2 Weeks In Top 10: 8 Weeks On Chart: 18 Hot 100 a - 27 - 32[b
[/b] [/quote] Wow...really??? I really don't think this should have been the first to leave. I think there are other songs more deserving in this spot, IMO. The melodies are pretty. Love this one.

C’mon taste!! 3/4 of the bottom-4 went out right on time (I hated putting Melba so low tho).

This extra was one of his final Top 10 hits on the Hot 100, peaking at #8. Also topping the AC chart and hitting #2 soul, it gave him his first Grammy for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.

Two perfect R out of 4 reveals? Can't complain. I came ready to hate that Melba Moore song, but it was not bad at all. Middle of the list for me.

Normally I've liked the Stevie Wonder songs we've ranked thus far, but this one left no impression on me.

26. I Just Can't Stop Loving You - Michael Jackson & Siedah GarrettReleased in the summer of 1987, this duet was the first of 5 #1s on both the Hot 100 and soul charts from the Bad album. Siedah Garrett was chosen to be MJ's singing partner at the last minute after both Barbra Streisand and Whitney Houston declined to participate. It topped the AC charts as well as the charts in Britain, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, and Zimbabwe. MJ would perform this on the Bad tour with his background singer who would go on to have a career in her own right, Sheryl Crow. The early pressings of the Bad album include a spoken word intro by Michael. Love Is A House being dead last is EASILY the most unfortunate placement I have EVER seen in a rankdown. Bye y'all.

YEeSSSS. We much prefer "If Your Heart Isn't In It", "Send For Me", and "Masterpiece" over this Adult Contemporary soccer mom song.

Atlantic Starr has to be one of the most undeserving groups to have 3 top 3 Hot 100 hits 💀
"I Need Love" is one of LL's worst songs; disastrously hokey
