You all have chosen death I consider it more of a "so bad it's good" song than anything (except for the beat, which is legitmately good). Still, "so bad it's good" is still bad, so I stand by my low ranking of it, even if I don't actively dislike it (I've even gone out of my way to listen to it for a good laugh a few times).  |

I remember 2014 fondly but man, I just realized that this year had the most annoying, overplayed big hits. Like... why?

"Bang Bang", "Dark Horse", and "Fancy" have severely overstayed at this point. If it weren't for the names attached, they would have probably been out by now, I believe. Also hoping "Summer" can leave on the next set - never got its appeal.
No major complaints with the reveals, though. Delighted to see "The Monster" and "Anaconda" out. The former is just yet another tired rehash of the "Love The Way You Lie" formula that plagued mainstream hip hop back then, and the latter is ruined by the outro. "The Man" and "Black Widow", on the other hand, deserved to last for a little longer.
Katy really had "Black Widow", "Get On Your Knees", and "Dark Horse" on her hands and decided to keep the much inferior song.

When this was higher earlier in the rankdown, I just assumed, "okay, this is really going to get revenge on its poor showing in the original RD." It's still nearly 20 spots higher than it originally landed, but I still think this deserved a little better.
