Love this song! Nightfall is such an underrated album from last year.

Good for him. He's so likable. But man that shocked me.

I’ve always thought he’s a better entertainer than Luke C, so I’m kind of happy. Still a shocker though.

Okay; here for seeing TJ again as we close the show! Tonight had its "huh" moments, but overall it was quite enjoyable and I thought it was great! I like this tradition we have of reacting live in the thread each time. It feels like a virtual watch party which I think is just really fun and speaks to how tight-knit The Tractors are. :)

And the only performance we got from Luke Bryan tonight was from a cringey commercial for Jockey

Most award shows air on nights I am watching something else and I catch it a day or 2 later. but tonight there wasn't anything else on my list. Most of the performances were great.

Some very deserving winners tonight. Also, some odd ones.

Interesting night. I think my biggest letdowns were Brothers Osborne losing Duo (LIKE WTF!!) and did not expect Luke Bryan to win entertainer. With Thomas winning male, Eric being Eric Church and massive Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs, I thought he was the only one sure not to win.

I still think Kelsea/Kenny were my favorite performance of the night - but dang the ACM’s closed us with three great ones from them, LBT and Brothers Osbrorne.

Okay I love Carrie Underwood and I think her and Cece sound great. But as someone who doesn't like Christian and Gospel music this performance only does so much for me. Sorry. Good ol' raylatch. Saying this about an otherworldly vocal not long after hoping a song by a racist act does better.

Ryan and Marren stole the show for me. Carrie just reminded everyone who is the boss (now release some decent music....). Kenny sounded as good as he ever has and this single may be his best. So glad for IHYHN. It was my song of the year but the performance was rough. Her lower register turns to garble...but I absolutely love her voice other than that. When they hit the chorus it all got better. Brad sounds great and I don't understand why he has run his course....
The one issue I had tonight was Keith (other than that awful song he performed) was the comment "as you can see by tonight, Nashville is inclusive of all people" as if the ACMs went out of their way to make sure they had black people, gay people, etc. Like they set it up to make sure they could say "hey look at us!". I think that by choosing Mickey as a host they were pushing that as well. I like her voice and would love to hear her more but should she host the show? What has she done to be put in that position? I could have seen Jimmy Allen hosting as he has had a pretty good run over the past year.
I think it is sad that the ACMs think they have to do this. Push the radio stations and your fellow members to get more minorities and women played, then you don't have to force things. To me a couple of things felt forced to me tonight.
Overall, tonight had some spectacular performances. I was fairly happy with the winners (except Luke Bryan).

Most of the perfromances were solid. Carrie, Alan, "In His Arms" and Kelsea/Kenny were the top tier for me. Pleasantly surprised with Thomas Rhett. Hope he continues going in the direction he's trending. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I enjoy Kelsea much more than Maren, especially singing more stipped down songs like "Half of my Hometown" and "Homecoming Queen". The awards were just kind of off to me with the winners in most categories. Surprised Luke Combs, Eric Church, and Miranda were shutout. Curious because I haven't seen it anywhere, but who got songwriter of the year?

Seems a bit strange unless the ACMs are doing some kind of separate ceremony that we haven't heard about.

It's almost like they just forgot about it lol. It is just kind of odd, especially with how big songwriting is.

Anyone else feel like female should’ve gone to Kelsea this year? I love Maren but really all she had was the tail of “The Bones” chart run and then “To Hell & Backs” chart run which was nothing special. Kelsea had HQ’s end of its chart run, along with HITB’s. As well as releasing two albums. Also remember seeing her on multiple talk shows last year.

Maren felt like a real representation of country, even if she didn't have specifically huge success within the past year.
