Released in the spring of 1976 from their self-titled album. It's their biggest hit, hitting #1 R&B and #14 on the Hot 100.

One of the best 70s funk/R&B/disco records of all times. How can you NOT get down to this? The 90s house track "Got Myself Together" by The Bucketheads (aka Kenny Dope Gonzales) sampled this track, which is how I got familiar with the Brass Construction original. I may had heard it on WGCI and V103 on the radio a long time. "Generate Power" by Photon Inc (alias of DJ Pierre), another house record that I remember hearing on the B96 mix shows from way back, sampled the beginning horn part of this track.
