kimberly it will definitely boost it. The question is if it'll be enough for it to reach the top 10, which I don't believe it will, especially in the coming weeks when big mainstream acts are rumored to start dropping singles. We'll see what happens, though.

I expect the Drake songs to grow on me because they always do but god What's Next is such a miserable fart of a song and it shouldn't even be close to #1

I wish βWants and Needsβ had a music video and push ready. I wouldβve loved it to reach #1 after this week.
Itβs such a lethal smash, especially with Lil Baby on it.

Wants and Needs is gonna stick around for a while even if they never properly push it, hell, it may even be around longer than What's Next

Bruno is holding up well on iTunes. Maybe his sales will make up for any streaming difference by the end of the week.

If what your comparing is Drake and whether he will go #1 that's pretty out of the question. It's possible he might be able to top wants and needs if streaming and sales hold and W&N continues to plummet in streams. I still think he'll beat lemon pepper freestyle safely enough

lol @ bruno begging the grammys to let him perform, although i think he might just be joking, still a bit weird tho. I wonder who will be #1 during grammy week. It could be drake, should what's next stop collapsing in streams, could very well be cardi considering a grammy performance will cause a decent increase for up, dark horse could be bruno if he is allowed to perform and his streaming holds all week & gets a big increase from the grammys - this is alltogether pretty unlikely tho. Think we can finally count DL out as airplay starts to stall and streams continue to slowly collapse. But then again, if drake goes #1 that week i think it'll be fine since Cardi will probably take it the following week.

While we're on the topic of upcoming releases, apparently Imagine Dragons will finally be releasing their next single on Friday after a couple of years away from the spotlight. They've been posting teasers to their Twitter recently. We'll see how it does, but I wouldn't be surprised if it underperforms, considering how the band has become a punchline since 2018. If it does underperform, I think that's it for their careers.

I think the time away and a shift in sound to something more palatable than the overblown pop-rock of Evolve and Origins could be beneficial for them. I'm more forgiving of ID's singles than most (except Thunder, that song still kinda sucks), so I'm curious to see what's in store for their next era.

Full disclosure, Imagine Dragons was my favorite band from 2013 to 2017, and even now I still have a huge soft spot for their first two albums (as well as some tracks off of Evolve, Walking The Wire for example). I'll give the new single a listen and see how it turns out.

Bruno Mars isn't begging Grammys to perform, they are probably confirmed at this point or he wouldn't have tweeted so much about it. :kii: Imagine thinking Bruno as desperate.

Iβd argue their sellout intentions are a fair bit different. At least Imagine Dragons is still capable of making songs that sound like they were made by a band. Maroon 5 is just Adam Levine and a producer at this point.

Nice to see some movement at the top of the chart. I wish it was more exciting material though, not a big fan of any of the big songs debuting.
I really enjoy Bebe's "Sacrifice" though!

Weak charts on CLB release week and itβs a wrap I need him to delay that album for as long as possible. Yes, the charts are weak right now but streaming right now is also poison. Even the biggest strongs are struggling to average 1M daily Spotify US streams. Anyone dropping now definitely underperform. If not in their first week, then in the weeks that follow.

There was literally nothing good that summer except for Ariana Grande.
