Meh. I really love Drake, but he’s definitely the most overrated artist (of all time). Drake is the definition of the law of average; he's put out so much material over the past 10+ years that there is literally no way to call him a consistently good or consistently bad artist. Nah, Rihanna is the law of averages (ranging from the utterly abysmal Birthday Cake to the gem that is Diamonds). Drake has been consistently underwhelming, even in his early days.

Drake's power over pulse(the chart threads) amazes me.

In other news, Beautiful Mistakes still has not shown up on the US or Global Spotify Top 200. It might still debut either this week or next week as it has radio traction and is in the top 100 of AM (and top 20 of iTunes), but it's underperforming even more than I expected.
I don't want to say Maroon 5 is effectively done out of fear of being completely wrong when the next single comes, but given the messy rollout of BM and Adam Levine's bad press over the past few days, I could be right after all.

It definitely has to be a glitch or something, right? No way the song is performing that badly.

Even if it's a glitch - if our computer overlords are telling us that they've had enough of Maroon 5, who are we to say no?

Nah, Rihanna is the law of averages (ranging from the utterly abysmal Birthday Cake to the gem that is Diamonds). Drake has been consistently underwhelming, even in his early days. And ironically, whenever the two of them work together (What's My Name, Take Care, Work), it averages out to pretty decent, at least in my books.

Is a top 20 debut for Lil Baby’s own song (real as it gets) possible? These streaming numbers + apple music domination could get huge as the week goes by

Meh. I really love Drake, but he’s definitely the most overrated artist (of all time). His songs are off to a strong start and you have an issue with that but if they were underperforming/flopping out the gate, you'd speak on how he's flopping. I forget that he can never win with some of you. actually, it's really easy (at least with me). If he puts jams like One Dance, Take Care, *Sicko Mode*, Nice For What, Hold On We're Going Home...I'd be okay if he's at #1 all year. I'm not okay with these recycled Drake's songs, but I see people aren't tired yet...good for Drake, I guess. My point that he's the most overrated artist still stands, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

All I'm getting from this is that you're disappointed that he released songs you didn't enjoy and they dared to perform well. You can't drag their performance, so the next thing is "he's the most overrated artist of all time." Gotcha.

You don't know what overrated means, nobody is calling drake's music high quality besides his stans
Meanwhile everything taylor swift puts out is called a masterpiece by the industry, shes clearly the most overrated artist

Taylor isn’t immune to criticism of her work. Many of the Lover and Reputation singles were slandered by both critics and the GP. No artist is immune to backlash when they release bad material. Taylor has received acclaim recently because she released 2 high quality albums with genius lyricism and storytelling.

You say many of the singles from those albums were slandered but thats actually not true minus ME! & LWYMMD and arguably end game. People and critics loved all the other singles like ready for it, YNTCD, delicate, lover, new years day and getaway car. Why is this even randomly brought up?

Rihanna may have some average album tracks but i think most ppl can agree she has one of the best female discographies in terms of bangers. Every age and demographic is fucking with rihanna

I swear, this is a vicious cycle TOTC has been going through for the past several weeks. They post early predictions where they project Dynamite to go recurrent, their stans mass-buy the song to make sure that's not the case. Then the one time they project it to rise in the early predictions (last week), late-week sales collapse and the track ends up one spot away from going recurrent. They should really consider just posting the top 25 in their early predictions from now on. This is getting ridiculous.

I'm assuming a lot of them buying the song right now have already bought it in the past.

Y'all are all wrong, the law of averages is definitely Ariana Grande, her singles range from great like thank u, next, Love Me Harder, Into You, breathin', no tears left to cry to awful like 7 rings, break up your girlfriend, i'm bored, God is a woman, Focus and her albums are also mid which is ashamed because she's really talented.

That’s a lie, we all know Dynamite will return to #1 because of the totally legitimate bulk sales

God is a woman was also half decent. Also add 34+35 into the awful pile...

Those fans have manipulated that songs chart placement for the last 3-4 months now. It's absolutely ridiculous. I feel like they're allowing D2C sales from websites just to not let sales die but it's such a bad representation of sales b/c fans consistently buying, trashing & then buying the song again to bulk up sales is NOT an accurate representation of traditional sales.
