I do enjoy "Leavin' In Your Eyes" but it's never been one of my fav Little Big Town tunes tbh.

Lol of course y'all let the edge-less, bland version by McGraw beat out the fantastic original.
"Between The River and Me" SLAYS as a song! Lyrics are awesome, melody is out of this world, and the instrumentation/production is A+. Tim's is so BLAH in comparison!

Nice! Aside from "Poet's Prayer", Sunny Sweeney very consistently overperforms when she appears in rankdowns. These are both pretty good and deserving to be in the top half, but I was worried they would stick around long enough to edge more iconic songs out of the top 5.

Also, Tim's "Between The River And Me" is neither edgeless or bland. I was actually quite impressed to hear that he more or less kept the same rock-leaning arrangement of the original, just with an obviously more well-funded production budget!
Although we all know that Flops doesn't think something is "edgy" until it sounds like it's being sung by a chain smoker with tonsillitis, so this really isn't a battle somebody with a good voice like poor Timmy was ever going to win.

Of the songs remaining not sung by the Warren Brothers, I’d have to guess that Gary Allan’s “Sand In My Soul” and “Feel that Fire” by Dierks are likely to exit soon. Also, both “Thought About You” and “Felt Good On My Lips” by Tim will probably be out before the top 12 for sure.
I’m not sure what songs by the Warren Brothers are likely to be in the top 10 (if any for that matter), but I’d have to think that “That’s the Beat of A Heart” is a contender along with “Move On”. Their other three songs remaining will more than likely exit before that.
Here are my predictions for what I think the top 10 songs will be (in no particular order):
That’s the Beat of a A Heart Move On Dance Baby Dance Sober Saturday Night The Lucky One Half Broke Horses Anyway Wrong Baby Wrong Between the River and Me Highway Don’t Care

Welp, there goes my top 10 predictions lol. I really thought this was going to make it in. Also, can “Feel That Fire” please leave now?! That should’ve been out before this anyways.

I've been waiting to comment on "Between The River and Me" until Tim's was eliminated. I love this song and am sad that neither version is in the top 10. Am especially disappointed to see The Warren Brothers superior version miss the top 20 altogether. The roughness of their version works in selling the song better for me and I just prefer the overall feel and sound of that version over Tim's more polished version. Don't get me wrong I love both versions but The Warren Brothers version is superior in every way for me.
We are at the top 15 and we've lost a few songs that I expected would be in the top 10 and I think others did as well. I do think the Top 10 will have some surprises in store. Tomorrow night I will get us to the Top 10! The Warren Brothers surprisingly have 4 songs remaining, can they get them all to the top 10? Tim McGraw has 3 songs remaining! Martina McBride has 2!
The song that kicks off the reveals tomorrow at #15 was in the Top 10 for almost all of the submission period until right near the end! Some people are bound to be a bit disappointed with that reveal!

Are you absolutely fucking kidding me. Tim's over WB's? Tim took an amazing song and sucked every ounce of angst and emotion out of it. He really said let me take this song about murder and make it sound like I'm singing in the church choir. He had NO business recording this song. There's nothing in his voice that allows him to convey this song properly. I absolutely ADORE that song and Tim's "version" if you can even call it that makes me want to throw up. It's absolutely revolting. HOW did his outrank theirs? I guess it's just the metal fan in me that prefers an angsty, angry song actually sound ANGSTY AND ANGRY. For fucks sake.

First of all the bold part is lies lol and actually, Tim managed to take all emotion right out of the song. Tim can do 'edge' when he wants to but for some reason he decided to make a really polished almost angelic version of a song that has no business sounding polished or angelic. I don't hate it, it's still a good song, but in comparison the original >>>>>>>>>

I can understand feeling like Tim's version is more polished, 'cause that's certainly true, but to describe it as "angelic" or like he's singing in a church choir is sending me 😂 I'd say it has a similar edge and tone to something like Reba's "Maggie Creek Road". You know, the one where Reba sounds like an angel while she sings about rape "Angelic", I can't 😂 This ain't no "Concrete Angel", where Martina has no edge whatsoever and literally sounds angelic while singing about murder!

"Maggie Creek Road" is dark and haunting... Reba's delivery is spot on and everything about the song is cohesive and brilliant. Perhaps if I didn't have the original to compare it to, I wouldn't find Tim's version of "Between The River and Me" so vanilla but when you analyze the two, it's clear to me which one is the weak version that does a poor job of capturing the essence of the song. I understand we disagree on which one that is lol. Polished, angelic, church choir... lol whatever word you want to use I think the way the song was produced on Tim's version is a.... choice and I'm not sure what was happening with the producer on this record, because it definitely didn't work for me. I also thought Tim was capable of a more convincing vocal on the song ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

THRILLED to see "Change" make the top 10!! I was sincerely doubting it would make it this far and feel like it could go anytime now, but that is the song that made me a Warren Brothers fan and I'm glad that it has a rightful spot in this top 10.
I think "Highway Don't Care" easily has this. Not happy about it but I know it's beloved on Pulse so I'd predict that wins!
