Tim's Emotional Traffic would have 4 more songs from them, one of which was "Felt Good On My Lips". Here are the other three:
You forgot the most important tidbit of this song's songwriting team, and that is the fact that it was also written by Queen Martina McBride!!!! to be honest I was just trying to type that up fast to get to revealing the next song so didn't spend too much time on any of that info (like the fact that Tim also co-wrote it with Martina and The Warren Brothers! Future Songwriter Rankdowns I will do better with these side reveals!

"That's The Beat Of A Heart" has long been my favorite Warren Brothers song. Yes of course it's because of Sara Evans But honestly, it is a really well-written song, and they sound great together! Sara's harmonies elevate this so much, and are the perfect touch to make this a career highlight for them!

As for the top 5, I would've much preferred to see Martina's "Anyway" here...but aside from that it's a great ending to this rankdown. And I'm pleasantly surprised to see not one, but two songs sung by the Warren Brothers themselves make it in!

Future Songwriter Rankdowns I will do better with these side reveals! To be honest, I don't really care about the entire songwriting team 99% of the time. I just felt that that one was noteworthy because it's one of the only songs that Martina ever wrote that was recorded by somebody else Would have loved to hear her version, as it's a great song imo! Definitely a highlight on an album that otherwise nobody really seems to care about, at least!

As this is my last reveal before the Final 2 I want to say thank you to everyone for participating and hopefully you've found some new-found respect for The Warren Brothers, whether it be as performers or songwriters. They definitely have some lows but their highs are really great as evident by our entire Top 10 here! I want to highlight some of the songs from their 3 albums that didn't get included here. I've long felt that each album got stronger and stronger and I wish they had continued releasing music. I still hope to eventually see them release an independent album because I'd grab it for sure! Anyways from their debut album, Beautiful Day In The Cold Cruel World, released in 1998 they included one non-single on their Hits album: Their King of Nothing album would follow and bring them 2 Top 20 hits in the 2 songs that made our top 5 in "That's The Beat Of A Heart" and "Move On". This album saw the songs "Waiting For The Light To Change" and "King of Nothing" be reprised on their hits album a few years later. Their final album was Well-Deserved Obscurity which saw only 2 singles released: "Sell A Lot Of Beer" and "Change". They saw "Comeback" be reprised on their hits album. This album is my favorite of theirs and features my favorite song of theirs "Between The River and Me". A couple other standout tracks from this album are "Southern Baptist Heartbreak", "Goodbye to Neverland", and "Little Savior of Brooklyn": timgardyfanClevelandRoxsomeguy🌺CountryLineDancerbboat11ChicaCherry콜라.indulgecountryLBTrockskw9461

I do really enjoy these types of rankdowns that give us the opportunity to not only listen to the songwriters own songs, but in turn also hear those songs and hits that they've written for others. Thanks again castleoblivion26 !

"Sober Saturday Night" is such a flawless song Chris Young is one of the best male vocalists in the business, and when he is given great material like this song he is able to deliver it like no other!! Obviously I would have been thrilled to see Martina win because I'm me, but I have no complaints at all about the way that this finale played out! It is worth noting that between the three songwriter rankdowns we have done so far, Martina is definitely the highest-performing artist if we were to compare average ranks. She's the only artist to have had multiple songs in the top 10 of all three rankdowns, as well as at least one entry in each of the top 5s as well. And I don't think it's just because she has a lot of fans around here necessarily. It's really a testament to her ability to choose great songs and attract great songwriters. Like, there is no way that something like "Wild Angels" didn't deserve to be in the top 5 of the Matraca Berg rankdown regardless of whose name was attached to it, lol. She's had a few that haven't been top 10 contenders too ("When You Are Old", "Teenage Daughters"), and a few that definitely wouldn't have done well had they been included ("Sunny Side Up", "Beautiful Again"), but in general she seems to be a pro at mining songwriters for their best songs! And I am one of those music consumers who pays literally zero attention to who writes which songs, so it's been fascinating for me to see which songwriters have been responsible for which amazing songs, not just in Martina's career but also in the country music scene in general!

at everyone putting this in their top 15 except for the dynamic duo ranking it 2-3x lower than everybody else ”Dynamic duo” I am 💀💀💀 but I’m actually surprised cuz I thought Chica loved “Highway Don’t Care” lmao. I was truly rooting for “Wrong Baby Wrong” to win this but hey, “Sober Saturday Night” is still a good song so I’m fine with this outcome. Thanks for hosting castleoblivion26!

While I didn't participate, interesting rankdown to watch. Thanks castleoblivion26! Sober Saturday Night is a powerful tune, definitely one of the better tunes that Chris has recorded in an eternity. They've written some great tunes for Tim over the years - I've Got Friends that Do, If You're Reading This, Blank Sheet of Paper, Train #10. I didn't realize they wrote Cody Johnson's Monday Morning Merle. That is one of - if not the best song - on his most recent album. Guiltiest pleasure of theirs - other than Felt Good on My Lips is definitely Thomas Rhett's All American Middle Class White Boy. LOVE IT. Play it all the time....

"Wrong Baby Wrong Baby Wrong" is definitely my fav Martina's song by far! Purely amazing lyrically, melodically, and vocally. Glad it made it to the top 2. A bit surprised that I'm the only #1 ranker here.
"Sober Saturday Night" is a very strong song, and deserves #1 in this list. I enjoy Chris Young's newest materials a lot, but I'm Comin' Over was a great era.
While I lost many of my favs along the way, happy for this top 2.
