iHype. oh, I know it makes sense to add them to the album. I'm just saying we think about it that way because we know specific details about the songs and how well they performed. I'm just going of Drake's history of leaving out songs from projects for no good reason, really. I mean, this goes all the way back to him leaving songs like Club Paradise, Free Spirit and Dreams Money Can Buy (which all fit perfectly on Take Care sonically and are some of his most acclaimed songs) off Take Care or not adding 0-100/The Catch Up on IYRTITL when it fit perfectly on the mixtape and was bigger than any other song off the mixtape. I hope all 4 songs make it on the album, I just have my doubts that they will. I'm curious to see when he will go into full album era mode, though. It doesn't feel like he's been certain of anything so far this era. Just seems like he's throwing things out there to see what sticks.

As much as we talk about radio hanging onto songs (and I'm one of them), the Spotify top 50 has plenty of songs that have been around forever: "Blinding Lights" "Mood" "Sweater Weather" (it has been ahwile since the TikTok resurgence) "Rockstar" "Laugh Now Cry Later" "Circles" "Lucid Dreams" SUNFLOWER?????? Don't disrespect sf like that. It still holds record for most no. of days in top 10 US Spotify with 300+ days. Yesterday it was at 51.

If Up or Leave The Door Open goes to #1 it will join a fairly short list of 2020-21 #1's that did not debut there THE BOX BLINDING LIGHTS SAY SO SAVAGE ROCKSTAR WATERMELON SUGAR SAVAGE LOVE(LAXED-SIREN BEAT)(BTS REMIX) MOOD Looking like this decade will have more songs debuting at number 1 than climbing there

albums are already that way - the last #1 album to climb there rather than debut there was 12/14/19 when Frozen II went to #1 in week 3

Looking like this decade will have more songs debuting at number 1 than climbing there Now letβs compare how many weeks these hits stayed in the top 10 compared to the #1 debuts. Itβs even more of an atrocity. The only ones that actually lasted in the top 10 after their debuts were Toosie Slide, Rain on Me, cardigan, WAP, Dynamite, positions and drivers license and if you take out songs that only got one other week in the top 10 after their debut, it's only Rain on Me, WAP, Dynamite, positions and drivers license. In the past two years, we had 14 number one debuts and only 5 of them had any sort of longevity, What's Next is certainly getting another week but yeah, the point is made.

Well... good that JB is singing at least and not just lipsyncing every time. It sounds awful though.

hoping #UP will be #1 next week It's more or less confirmed to be the next #1. Bruno fans haven't really done anything to boost Leave the Door Open, meanwhile Cardi B fans have been holding streaming parties and buying digital copies of the album to boost it's chances. They've also been watching the Grammy performance/music videos to give a boost in streams. They know this is the only week it has to go #1 and they're doing all they can to get it to #1. I'll bet it goes #1 next week while Leave the Door Open does #1 the week after.

atlantic wins having back to back #1s. Here for that. back to back number one singles with LONGEVITY !!! Not everyone has that Atlantic always wins and goes hard with Bruno and Cardi, only at their best though. Less of Please Me, Wake Up in The Sky, Girls Like You, and Money, we then got 2 amazing powerhouses who smash everytime.
