It will probably be new single not new album for BTS. I think the album will come out in june for their 8th anniversary. But half of korean media are saying it's a single other half it's an album. And at the same time whole music industry is moving their comebacks to not clash with them.

The streaming longevity if "Life Is Good" is very impressive. Meanwhile, "The Box" is nowhere to be found on the chart. It's a shame "Life Is Good" never did get that #1 (even though I only really like it for the first half of the song). I will agree that LIG should have been a #1 hit since it was bigger than almost every #1 hit in 2020. Longevity wise both songs have great streaming longevity (audio streams). But their Audio streams aren't enough to put them on the Streaming Songs chart. The reason why LIG is still charting there are Video streams, which are a bit problematic since the YouTube algorithm seems to be fuัked for that song, it gets auto-played a lot. It is still getting ~10M weekly views (same as Summer 2020 - not even a small drop). To put it into perspective it was #2 last week (behind Montero). Before that there were weeks when it was #1 even. This are Audio streams for both songs in 2021. Life Is Good | The Box | 2021 | 5.7M | 6M | week 1 | 5.6M | 6M | week 2 | 5.6M | 6M | week 3 | 5.6M | 5.8M | week 4 | 5.4M | 5.6M | week 5 | 5.4M | 5.4M | week 6 | 4.9M | 5.1M | week 7 | 5.3M | 5.5M | week 8 | 5.4M | 5.2M | week 9 | 5.6M | 5M | week 10 | 5.3M | 5.3M | week 11 | 5.4M | 5.7M | week 12 | 5.4M | 5.6M | week 13 | 5.3M | 5.5M | week 14 |

Did anyone notice that Beautiful Mistakes is at #25? How did it even get there? Just entered at #38 in Streaming Songs, as well as being #23 in Radio Songs and #14 in Digital Song Sales.

So many Christian songs on this week's Bubbling Under... I get that Easter was during this tracking week, but my word, this is overkill.

I don't understand Life Is Good longevity on Youtube. Sure it gets autoplayed a lot but it's still insane to me. How can it still get basically as many streams as in 2020? It's literally MILES ahead of any Youtube video released in 2020 and that includes bigger hits like Blinding Lights and Don't Start Now

Dynamite didn't chart in Hot 100 Recurrents nor Digital Song Sales. You're right! It's nowhere to be found on the Recurrent charts. What the hell happened? Wow, further evidence of how much the song was kept alive by fans and... no one else. ๐

Many people have tried to act like ALL it's YouTube views are because of autoplay/YouTube's recommendation algorithm, but that simply doesn't make sense because if that's all it had going for it, it's numbers would have dipped by now if only from people being tired of watching the video (it's been out for 15 months now). I streamed the song a lot on Spotify the first few months it was out but I eventually moved on to just watching the music video because it was fun and I also got to hear the song at the same time. Maybe other people did the same. Either way, it'll be certified Diamond very soon.

If BTS releases a new album, Go Crazy is going recurrent that week, and that should test BL as well. If BL somehow goes Top 10 the week of BTS album release, then we will need to accept that it will never fall off the charts, lol. It's not officially confirmed yet but they typically put out two Korean albums and 1 Japanese album a year and are always working on new music for the next album. Dynamite and BE were not planned, so they would have been working on the third album for the Map of The Soul series. It's been almost 6 months since BE was released, so it's about that time for a new album. I wouldn't be surprised to see some major collaborations included. After HYBE bought Ithaca you can rely on BTS releasing songs with Ariana, Bieber and probably J Balvin. Another hint is the reports that other Kpop groups are moving their previously schedule comebacks because none of them want to be overshadowed by BTS. There should be an official announcement soon, though.

Yes we can, unfortunately pop radio doesn't seem to want to do the same.

Maybe, but it will 100% be radio that will send it to top 10/20 later on.

#24 on radio is NOT "no big radio support" lol
Good Days by SZA would've reached top 5 at least if it had such a support (yet it had to settle at peaking at #9)

Many videos are fun and are by big artists but Life Is Good has the most horrendous autoplay I have seen from a video in recent years. Even the YouTube comments on the video complain about the autoplay lol. I have seen this song be autoplay after Jazz karaoke songs on YouTube for crying out loud. When will this stop!

kingvavis people should refer those complaints to YouTube and it's algorithm. Also, if they turned off their autoplay, they'd have to deal with the video a lot less so that's also on them. YouTube's algorithm is weird. I don't know how it works or which videos it chooses to favor but I know that some of the biggest videos on YouTube from 2015-2019 benefitted a lot from it and no one seemed to have any issues with those probably because none of them were rap videos. I really did think Life Is Good wouldn't still be popping up in recommendations for folks by now but it seems like YouTube's algorithm isn't ready to let it go yet for whatever reason. No worries, though. Soon enough, the algorithm will latch on to another music video I'm sure people will forget to complain about lol.

Life is good music video got 3.6 million views last April 12th. Of those, 2.5 million came from USA. It's clearly an American thing going on... maybe it's just popular.... LOL.

That's one reason that I have disabled autoplay for YouTube on all devices. More often than not, it would start a video I was not interested in.

The release of Beautiful Mistakes certainly did not help Moodโs longevity. The songs sound almost exactly alike, and it seems radio has dropped/the GP has moved on from the older song (Mood).

All this is not helped by YouTube recently deciding to move the autoplay switch to the video control panel instead of above the next video on the side panel. Trust me, as a college student, it has only made my professorsโ issues with autoplay worse.

^Yeah. It took me a while to figure out how to disable it on all the devices. One change that was welcome, though, is for some videos you can now boost the volume for them if they are not loud enough.

No matter what people think the reason for Life Is Good's success on Youtube is, it still doesn't make sense to me. We're not talking about 500M difference. It's something like 1.5 BILLION streams ahead of all the other hits songs from 2020

Maybe it's just that popular of a video or maybe some people will aruge that all it's views are due to YouTube's algorithm/autoplay. Whatever side you fall on, it's on it's way to 2B views and nothing is stopping it. It's also done well on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and other streaming services. I just wish people would be stop being so bothered that it's doing well on YouTube. It's getting kinda tiring discussing this every few weeks. Disable your autoplay option if you don't want the algorithm to keep directing you towards the video.
