“Younger Me” nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2022 Grammys. I’m gonna cry a river. This song means so much and is so deserving. (Didn’t know where else to put this)

Rooting for Elle/Miranda but "Younger Me" winning would certainly be a nice moment for obvious reasons. It is one of the few Bros Osborne songs that I have really been able to get into, too. I still half wish they'd just ditch the current single and put that out to radio because "I'm Not for Everyone" isn't doing much of anything and it feels like another song that'll peak in the 25-32 range on the charts at best.

It hasn't stalled out and is still being promoted, it's just crawling in the 30s and trying to find an opening into the Top 30 but it keeps getting outpaced and can't seem to ever gain much traction week to week. It's not doing awful but "I'm Not For Everyone" is pretty much just existing on the chart. I do think however this song is probably not gonna last a lot longer as it is pretty old at 37 weeks on Billboard for its position (#36) and I would be shocked if this is still being promoted by April given lack of interest.

They'll be performing at the Grammy's this year!
They've been nominated for Best Country Duo/Group performance for 7 years straight... and haven't won. The competition with If I Didn't Love You, Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home) and the winners for the last 3 years Dan + Shay is strong. But, do we think that Younger Me has a shot because of the message and exposure that song's gotten outside of Country?

Definitely pulling for them this year, but you're right the competition is stiff. I think Jason/Carrie are the biggest threat to take it, which I wouldn't be mad about either. "Drunk" has the crossover success to maybe help it too though. Hoping BO can pull off a win though. I'd love for "Younger Me" to be released as a single too now that INFE is done. But I'm worried that ship has sailed.

They’ve been my frontrunners since the noms came out in terms of having the most substance in their song and the gold derby polls (for whatever they’re worth) seem to think the same. Them getting a performance kind of solidifies that they’ll take it for me.

I thought that would happen last year with Mickey Guyton performing, and instead her award went to some random album cut by Vince Gill.

Lol as a miranda fan who had bluebird in that category last year I knew Vince was winning based solely on his record bc why would they change now 😂 I could totally be off the mark but Younger Me is the only nom that stands out to me there. There’s no Vince in that category. And that Dan and Shay song did absolutely nothing so prayers it’s not that.

Vince Gill is an absolute Grammy darling and “When My Amy Prays” was/ is a brilliant song. I’m not surprised at all that the song won over the others last year. As for “Younger Me” winning here, I hope it does and I hope that it’s still possibly a radio single.

I'm not surprised either because the Grammys rewarding an older white man is certainly nothing unexpected, but "Amy" doesn't hold a candle to the brilliance of "Black Like Me" imo.

Any insights as to their next single? Dead Man's Curve was performed at the CMAs and Grammys. That's a great song to perform live, and one of my favorites on the album, but I'm not sure I see that as a single especially since I'm not For Every One wasn't quite the hit.

I was thinking Younger Me because they won a Grammy with it.

Younger Me seems like a career defining smash but who knows, thought this was a shoe in hit too

"Younger Man" for next single or bust. If not, then they just need to pivot to brand new material.
