"I See It Now" is probably about the only big hit of Tracy's career that I really grew tired of hearing over the years. I still couldn't leave it outside of my top 15 though.

"If The World Had A Front Porch" proved to be quite a bit more polarizing than most of his other big '90s hits for whatever reason, resulting in it barely being a top 10 contender. In the end though it has the most top 10 ranks out of anything we have seen thus far, helping it to remain competitive! In the end 🌺CountryLineDancer's #2 rank was enough to push it up to the third position of our four-way tie!

"If The World Had A Front Porch" was yet another massive hit from the I See It Now era that I still hear occasionally on the radio (down this way in Texas at least). I admittedly kind of started to tune him out during that time because every song was so massively overplayed. As the years have passed, though, I've grown to appreciate songs such as this one a lot more and for whatever reason thought it would find its way a bit closer to the top 5.

Glad Lessons Learned and Front Porch did relatively well here. I was quite worried about losing them soon. Both have great lyrics and strong melody, and stood out well in the list.

Well, "If I Don't Make It Back" certainly made it much further than I thought it would. I was holding my breath with each reveal since the top 15 expecting to see this out at any moment. This is just one of those songs that when I hear it stops me in my tracks every time. I had just left the Army shortly before the songs release and needless to say is one that I still connect with even now.

"If I Don't Make It Back" ended up winning the four-way tie thanks to the fact that it had a whopping FOUR #1 ranks!!! In fact, this song got more #1 ranks than anything else in this list, which is impressive as hell considering that this is the lone holdout that wasn't a huge smash hit!!! This was a strong top 5 contender right out of the gate, even holding onto #1 a couple times, but ended up falling at the halfway point because it proved to be our most polarizing song as well... :'(
This is just such a gut-punching song!!! A lot of military songs can sound pandering or forced, but this one packs a wallop due in large part to the focus on character development, the powerful belted chorus, and the twist ending.... You cannot listen to this and not feel connected to the story. I know it is amazing that it was able to infiltrate this far into his huge hits, but I still wish it had been able to do better.

Our #6 song was able to finish ahead of the four-way tie by a whopping twenty-one points, only to miss out on the top 5 by one point

Our #6 song was able to finish ahead of the four-way tie by a whopping twenty-one points, only to miss out on the top 5 by one point I have to imagine "Is That a Tear" will exit before the top 5 as everything else seems like a solid representation of his career.

Of all the songs to miss the top 5, "Sticks and Stones" shouldn't have been one of them. Next to "Time Marches On", this is easily one of his signature hits (whether you were born yet or not doesn't matter!).

Yeah, imagine my shock when "Sticks And Stones" not only missed out on the top 5, but ended up barely even being a top 5 contender!!!!! This is Tracy's debut, and definitely one of his signatures. I don't even know what to say about this one other than it is the definition of a classic! Although the thing is, nobody really tanked it. It simply succumbed to the fact that the upper regions of his career were so competitive and strong

"Is That A Tear" certainly exceeded my expectations as I wouldn't have thought it to be such a strong top 5 contender. I just never happen to think of revisiting this one much myself.

"Is That A Tear" is one that I am thrilled to see do as well as it did!!!! For some reason, similar to tim, I have had it in my head that this was one of his more underappreciated hits! But then everybody put it in their top 20 except for gardyfan and it ended up being a top 5 contender! The rankings in the teens still held it back from doing any better than this, but it did settle in at #5 and stay there pretty comfortably! I have always loved the way Tracy delivers this one. Not sure if any of you have ever tried, but this is actually a really hard song to sing! Lol. I'd put it right at the top of his career alongside "Today's Lonely Fool" and "If I Don't Make It Back" as songs that show off what an excellent vocalist he is.

Well, I know this would be a popular one when I was ranking this, but I just didn't get the appeal to this song. Not a bad song at all, but it just didn't stand out to me after finishing the list. Lyrics are good for sure, but the melody sounded flat to my ears. Edit: Also, pretty sure I committed a similar crime in the recordyear's RD, so redeeming may take some time lol

I guess we can lob some of those sticks and stones .indulgecountry's way as well, as outside of his #22 and 🌺CountryLineDancer's #38 rank, everybody put this in their top 7!!!!! It was by far our primary #1 contender. Like, one of those #1 contenders where it feels like there is literally no chance of it losing. The 2-4 songs were always really really close to each other, but this one had a huge lead on them. Unfortunately those two posters' low ranks helped to eat up its 50-ish point lead, and then 2-4 were all so close that it fell behind them really quickly once it fell behind one of them
