I just listened to "Solid" and, uh, I guess it lives up to its name.

The Good Ones is now #1 on iTunes, because life is just not fair.

This is big news for the queen of country I'm ready for this top level break-up music she's about to release. I love her happy music, like "Butterflies" and "Love is a Wild Thing", but if it's a whole album with songs like "Space Cowboy" and "Wonder Woman", that'll make me more excited for this new album!

Is it possible weβll see AURORAβs Runaway debut on the chart? the streaming numbers are quickly increasing, but recurrent rules will bar her from debuting under #50.

This is gonna be another top 10 hit for her, isn't it?

This is gonna be another top 10 hit for her, isn't it? Unless it's sent to pop radio, no it probably won't be. It's #1 on country, so it's gonna be losing airplay quickly almost immediately, and that's really the only thing it has going for it. Sure it's #1 on iTunes, but that means very little in 2021. Its streaming is virtually nonexistent. This will probably be its biggest week, and then it'll die.

Next week will be The Good One's final week at #1 on Country radio, so unless they start pushing it to pop radio soon, it's likely that it will drop down the chart again.
Edit: What Austin said, lol

^ I feel like the song will find a way. Didn't her last top 10 hit take like 30+ weeks to reach the top 10? I can see this taking off on Pop radio soon. It may not happen soon but I can definitely see the song reaching the top 10 eventually.

Only 14 weeks in the top 10 for drivers license doesnβt seem right. It felt like it was there for 30 weeks

Runaway never had a debut on The Hot 100. No. We had several cases of songs previously released that didn't chart but with the new found popularity, they needed to cross the Top 50 treshold to debut in the Hot 100. Examples: "Truth hurts" by Lizzo, "Last Christmas" by Wham!

I guess it'll return when the album is out (or at least climb closer, depending on the competition). Its streams are pretty steady, airplay is declining fast.

Examples: "Truth hurts" by Lizzo, "Last Christmas" by Wham! Huh, I see. How did Clairoβs βSofiaβ chart though? It is not clear when Billboard considers a song current or recurrent... "Good as hell" debuted outside the Top 50 but it was explained the label was pushing the single and promoting it as a radio single (so that removes the rule). I don't know about Clairo's case.

^That just shows that Billboard is pretty inconsistent in applying those rules and will easily make exceptions.

It'll be lucky to even spent 12 weeks in the top 10 at this rate. At least drivers license spent 8 weeks at #1. That's great for a debut single (or any single, really).

^That just shows that Billboard is pretty inconsistent in applying those rules and will easily make exceptions. They did just that this week for Big Gangsta. It probably would've debuted months ago if Billboard weren't applying their recurrent rules for it. It'll be interesting to see whether Runaway gets the same treatment.

Iβll believe Blinding Lights falling outside the Top 12 when I actually see it. I donβt think BL will be below the Olivia songs, and Iβm not fully convinced Solid will debut in the Top 10.
