Thoughts on Elusive Butterfly: It was an okay folk song. Unfortunately it didn't have a great enough backing music track for me to want to put it much higher.

Not a bad little song. I gave it a slighter tap of #70. I think that background music accompanying the guitar made it sound to "cinderella" for it's own good. I understand that it fits the "butterfly" theme, but I would have gave it a better rank without that

83. Tommy James and the Shondells - "Hanky Panky"
Starting off this FRiday evening with a hard hit. Gave this one a #27 on my secret list. So it would have been the highest rank. Easily one of the better songs that captures that Psychedelic rock formula of the 60's. "Hanky Panky" was a sweet radio way to say "the Nasty" between two people. I'm sure it was also some kind a dance back then? I liked this one. Instantly catchy.

82. Brenda Lee - "Comin' On Strong"
Not a bad song, but not much to offer me. There is slight hint of Dolly Parton in Brenda's vocals, but that didn't help it. a #89 song for me.

81. Slim Harpo - "Baby, Scratch My Back"
and there is the song I gave that coveted #100 to. This knee slappinge/harmonica wonderjam was not getting me in dance shoes mood at all. The vocals were a huge turn off for me. Sounds like he was getting off on getting his back scratched. Cringola. Just go do the "hanky panky" instead. Three more songs and I clear my tank.

80. The Shades of Blue - "Oh, How Happy"
Found out something new while previewing this wonderjam. That Jingles and clapping combo don't work for me. . A #76 for me. Was this supposed to be X-Mas themed? Cuz if not what was the point of the jingle bells?

79. Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass Band - "Zorba the Greek"
and there is my #99. You play this at a restaurant and I'm ordering to go. 'nuff said.

Alright, I'm back! We will start off with #74, the next reveal. This one does only have 4 Top 50 rankings, but also has only 4 bottom 20 rankings. I believe this is the first one to not have more bottom 20 rankings than top 50 rankings. 1 person did rank it bottom 10, however. 

The hint will be shown below. Sadly, I don't know if it will show up since it's marked "for kids", it's a 1965 tennis shoe commercial that is only 30 seconds long, it's by a company called PF Flyer. It was the only live action video commercial I could find of tennis shoes in the 1960s, sadly. I found plenty of print ads though.

This man died too soon. The live versions have been great, but the studio version we ranked just seemed to lack something, but still shows good talent. This guy also had one of the greatest 50s hits ever, "Mack the Knife". This certainly did good for being the only song not on Spotify. The best version I found with Darin was one with Stevie Wonder in 1969, but Johnny Cash & June Carter had an astounding version (pretty much anything Johnny Cash ever did was amazing), but so did the Four Tops.
