Interlude only 1 million on Spotify today. Could just debut in top ten, thanks to strong first day/AM? Top 11 stays the same positions-wise. Itβs a Sunday update, so numbers are bound to be lower than expected. What matters more is that it held position. I still think itβs going top 10. |

There were almost 40 songs below 200k streams yesterday on Spotify. Granted it's a Sunday, but I think you'd have to go back to 2017 to find streams that low. Pretty strange. Surely it couldn't have been Mother's Day causing streams to crater, could it?

Mitski's Washing Machine Heart entered US Spotify at #134 with 215,373 streams. I think it's due to Tiktok (good taste though). βI Bet On Losing Dogsβ & βNobodyβ are also having TikTok moments right now. Idk why they suddenly decided to stan Mitski but Iβm not complaining |

You could make the most well constructed, fantastic sounding pop song of all time and some people will still call it "basic" because of the genre.

"Levitating" is a cute and fun song, but it really blows my mind that it has done so well and is a contender for the year-end number 1 because it just doesn't seem that special. Am I missing something? Like it's hard to imagine this song being remembered as a classic years from now. No disrespect, it's a fun song, I just don't get how it's so big.
