Make Me Say It Again, Girl was originally released in 1977 on The Isley Brothers' 13th album The Heat Is On; in 1998, it was sampled by a fledgling group named Destiny's Child on the opening track (Second Nature) of their self-titled debut album; in 2022, The Isley Brothers resurrected the track, with help from Beyoncé, to make it the lead single and title track of their 32nd studio album. Just seven weeks after its release, it hit #1 on the Adult R&B chart - both theirs and her third #1 on that chart.
