Josh Levi is a singer/songwriter/actor who got his career started with a role on NBC's sports drama Friday Night Lights followed by competing in season three of The X Factor, finishing inside the top-8. After that show, he spent time in a group before releasing music independently as a solo artist which put him on Isaa Rae's radar; she signed him to her Raedio imprint under Atlantic in 2021. Slight correction on Arin Ray: He actually started off on X Factor Season 1 as a part of a failed thrown together group called inTENsity. They actually had a fun quick mashup that's one of my favorites of the 3 seasons (I'm a sucker for mashups). Her debut album (which she notes her ex-husband resentfully helped her record), Madison Tapes, was released in 2020 and gained the attention of legendary indie label Big Dada who signed her and released her sophomore album, Remember Your North Star, last month. She describes the album as her "thesis" on ways to center Black womanhood while working through the misogynoir that occurs in their romantic relationships.

Sheléa Frazier is a singer/songwriter from Bakersfield, CA that got her professional start doing session work working under the guidance of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. She co-wrote and sang the theme song to UPN's 2003 sitcom All of Us; spent years as a member of Stevie Wonder's band; released her debut album in 2013 which produced a top-25 Adult R&B hit entitled I'll Never Let You Go; and, most recently, she portrayer Dorinda Clark Cole in the 2020 Lifetime biopic The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel.
