It's been over a year since we've had new music from Kiana Ledé. Her latest offering, Irresponsible, did not have quite enough steam to make the top-10 unlike her previous entry, Ur Best Friend (featuring Kehlani), which finished at #10 in the July 2021 rankdown. No word yet on whether a new EP or album is on the horizon.

Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer/songwriter that started out as a model at the age of 16 before pivoting into music. After covering several songs by popular artists on Instagram, the first original song she posted in December 2019 led to a deal with Nigerian major label Mavin Records followed by the release of her debut album, 19 & Dangerous, in the summer of 2021. Bloody Samaritan was its lead single and went to #1 on the TurnTable Top 50 (Nigeria's equivalent of the Billboard Hot 100), making her the first woman in its history to earn a #1 solo hit. Its remix, featuring Kelly Rowland, was included on the deluxe edition of her album released last month.
