Two debut albums by singer-songwriters encapsulating the period of adolescence through love and heartbreak, whilst shrouded in insecurity and self-doubt, all while retaining sharp storytelling and attention to detail. Of course, I also picked these two projects because it shows how influential Taylor Swift has been to our current generation of musicians, and it's beautiful to see Olivia getting so much love for her raw and honest songwriting, just like Swift did back then.
Which one do you prefer?

it's a shame most of my favourites (tracks 3, 10 and 11) got paired together, but I went with Olivia for all of these except Our Song/hope ur ok

Tracks 7 and 9 were the toughest for me. I adore all four songs, and they are particularly underrated among fans.

I’m probably in the minority but I prefer Taylor’s debut mostly because the songs are familiar and besides I don’t understand the hype behind Olivia 🤷♂️

Voted for Taylor's "Tim McGraw" & "Should've Said No" and the rest went to Olivia.

It’s a little apples and oranges, but yeah Olivia undeniably made the better debut album

"Our Song" is the only pick I made for Taylor. Love her but her debut is not one of my favorite projects she's done.

Taylor Swift for all. Her debut is still her best album imo.

Taylor Swift for all. Her debut is still her best album imo. All facts. Glad to see it being said.

Taylor Swift's debut is immaculate, underappreciated, and better in every aspect than "Sour".
