"You Really Got Me" is one of those undeniably incredible classic rock songs that I very much love, This is of course a really great live version of their timeless hit!

100. Walks Like a Lady- Journey
I mean not my favorite Journey song, but a strange choice for #100. Still this was nothing to write home about. Steve Perry's vocals saves it, but apparently not enough for the Journey haters. Also this showing up before that "Wango Tango" s h i t storm. 

99. Fool for a Pretty Face - Humble Pie
Can't remember one song from this band. Vocals are nothing to boost, but still better than about 20 other songs on this list.

98. Wango Tango - Ted Nugent
I tanked this because it's a true musical travesty not because of who he is. BTW I really thought this would have been #100.

97. Down On the Farm - Little Feat
Another song I had no idea what to do with. That inro tho. WTF was that?

96. A Certain Girl - Warren Zevon
This had a sort of salvageable melody to it, but now that I hear it next to "Down On The Farm' I'm thinking I over ranked it?

95. Angel Say No - Tommy Tutone
I knda always dug Tommy's tones, and this song isn't too terrible ,but let's face. Tommy Tutone wa a true one hit wonder.

94. Angeline - The Allman Brothers Band
There is certainly something amiss when I'm one of the top 5 rankers for The Allman Brothers Band. I kinda forget why I gave this a decent #72? Maybe the vocals?

93. It Takes Time - The Marshall Tucker Band
At least we are getting rid a certain rock vibe here That I don't go for.

92.Medley: Devil With the Blue Dress / Good Golly, Miss Molly / Jenny Take a Ride - Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band
I actually like all these songs, but cramming them together like a pop(or now more than ever an Alternative) song with a bunch of featured cameos just sound like a train wreck. Also I wouldn't mind getting rid of all the live crap all together.

91. Dirty Water - The Inmates
Bad Mick Jagger impressionist hits the nail head on. I do like this melody. The original blows this out of the water (no pun intended)

90. The Shout - Robin Trower
This guy doesn't do S H I T for me.

89. Baby Talks Dirty - The Knack
My first top 50 loss. Gotta love them for giving us another version of "My Sharona". This better not be a preview of said song. 

88. Free Me -Roger Daltrey
Roger Daltry going for the Rod Stewart vibe. It kinda works for one listen in a long while. At least it isn't too too theatrical.

87. Endless Night - Graham Parker
...and there goes my #100, and not a moment too soon either. What took you all? We should have ranked that Graham Parker extra I previewed last night instead. This is the worst I have heard from him yet.

86. Holiday - Nazareth
Found myself knocking this one down my list with every other song I previewed. The chorus sounded like Three Dog Night. Not a fan.

Voices - Cheap Trick
I can't belive we didn't get to rank this one. It's one of their biggest ballads. Gorgeous drop dead melody.

Lady Evil - Black Sabbath
As far as I can remember this is the only Black Sabbath (Dio era) song I ever heard on the radio. Easily the one I connected with. This would have made my top 20. 

I Hear You Now - Jon and Vangelis
WTF was this? and on this list? clear bottom 10. 

Dragon Attack - Queen

Groovy. This is about as club oriented that I could handle Queen. 

You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling - Daryl Hall & John Oates
Really loved the retro vibe they were gojng for, and Jon didn't sound half bad here. Not that great for this list, but a bad  ass pop song.

You Really Got Me (Live) - The Kinks
This is a song that sounds good in live format, but i will always prefer Van Halen's cover.

Jojo - Boz Scaggs
This guy dosen't get my motors revving. Nothing doing on this list either.

{WORD WALLING CAN BE YOURS IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT}#100: Whew, I hated this. Say what you will about "Any Way You Want It", but it's not infuriating in the way that this is. "Walks like a lady, cries like a little girl" Go screw yourself, Steve.
#99: It's like a bunch of the worst aspects of the classic rock era made their way into 1980.
#98: This is such an easy target, but it's hard not to blast away when your song actually says, I shit you not, "She Wango'd to death".
#97:
#96: I love Warren, but he was not infallible, and woof, this might be the worst thing I've heard from him. This was so freaking lame.
#95: So, apparently, Tommy's saying in the chorus, "angel say no, you're better on your own". What I hear is "angel say no, you're better RYE-YON".
#94: "don't expect this band's rock chart rankdown singles to get much better" fuck
#93: I do like "Heard It in a Love Song" enough, but it's probably more in line with this song in terms of quality, so...yeah.
#92: I admire the energy, which is the only reason I have this as high as I do...but Bruce was not doing himself any favors with that "disclaimer".
#91: In terms of Jagger impersonators, I've heard worse, but this is pretty nothing overall.
#90: Interesting. I thought this was fine. It's not better than the song that was in modern rock, but I didn't hear anything that was particularly egregious.
#89: It's literally just "My Sharona" again, but a hundred times worse. Why would I listen to this when I could just listen to "My Sharona"?
#88: Kind of dug the instrumental here, but good LORD, Roger.
#87: Odd choice for a 100, but I guess you could have done worse, Doc.
#86: Nazareth sucks.

We ranked "Rock It" and not "Dragon Attack", that feels wrong.

I lived 1980. Back then Nugent was cool. Sad what 41 years can do to people's music tastes.
Pretty much the same impression with Nazareth, and sad about Tommy Tutone dislikers--I've always felt 867 was a bit kitschy, whereas Angel pulled no punches.
