#58. Avenged Sevenfold - Almost easyI wanted to upgrade this a bit more, but my top 40 can't be all metal can it? I needed to make room for some non metal songs too. I do love the fact that it is loud and scares people away. #57. The Guess Who - American WomanClassic hard Rock. This was one of my dad's favorite bands. I actually love American women. 80's Hott Blondes and all that. Didn't know ,or care that this is a protest song. It still rocks proper. #55. Bad Company - Shooting StarGreat song, but not my Rock and Roll Fantasy. #54. The Donnas - New Kid In SchoolOne of my favorite first, or I think was a first listen here. Right up my female rock alley. #51. Testament - Souls Of BlackStrong and fierce metal song V.s a lot of stronger 80's competition. I knew this would scare most of you right out of your socks.  #50. Ratt - Round And RoundI've given this song enough 31 ranks to last a lifetime. One of the best 80's Metal songs ever written. You can rock out to, you can dance to it. Apparently even great for commercials, and it even scored a chart positions on one of Billboard's lesser music charts in 2020. The only reason this is not my #1, is because there is another fiercer song I would rather perform on stage if given the band and equipment to back me up. Not one top 10 rank , but mine, yet I gave top 10 ranks to some of the fierce grunge songs from the list. Nice to know I can count on PULSE to hang me out for the vultures to feast on. Whatever this RD was bound to become a flaming pile of dust sooner or later. #49. Squeeze - Cool For CatsThis is actually pretty cool jam, and falls where it should. #48. Bikini Kill - Rebel GirlI expected so much more with a song title like that. What I got instead was an EPIC ,and I mean EPIC fail on those vocals. Completely off tune. Is she related to those Beastie Boys. This is what happens when you bye your niece that karaoke machine. She suddenly thinks she can sing.  #47. Elvis Costello - Pump It UpThis song has seen better days, but not even this pumpy fun jam can overcome that Beastie Boys curse running through the PULSE atmosphere. If the fierce grunge song don't at least make the top 10.... *****This is getting ridiculous 8D I will pay money to those who will tank the next Beastie Boys song that appears on these Rds. Even that "Fight For Your Right To Party" song. idk why I even liked it, but probably because it was a semi-party rock song. (with horrible vocals) |
