Yeah I listened to Certified Lover Boy and this pretty much on par with Scorpion (so bad and really boring). It might be a little better overall but it also doesn't have a song really even close to as good as Nice For What so idk.
Either way obviously it'll do numbers. Girls like Girls being pushed is...not ideal tho.

Can't believe he managed a more bloated album than Scorpion. It's... a lot with little highlights here and there. It's been a while since I've considered myself a fan so I'm not too dissapointed bc I had zero expectations tho.

I'm just so tired of the trap beats Drake's been making since Scorpion. Why are rappers still stuck with trap beats that even a 13 year old could make in their rooms? Can they make something else instead? We're in a new decade for crying out loud. I do like Fair Trade though.

I've said this before but an album's pacing and sequencing determines whether something is bloated and feels long. If every song plays a part in the experience, even if it's long, it wont feel bloated because it's paced well. But if it isn't well paced, if it drags in spots, gets redundant, or doesnt have that many dynamic tempo shifts, people will complain of it being long and bloated even if the run time light be longer It's all subjective, there's no objective barometer for something being bloated. so if Choco feels like it's more bloated and drags on more than Scorpion, they have that opinion |

What a drop in length I'm just saying, in the time it takes to listen both CLB and Scorpion, you could listen to 5-7 albums that came out this year |

Yeah how "bloated" an album feels isn't just literally how long it is. It has to do with length, pacing, killer-to-filler ratio - it's pretty subjective.
There's plenty of very long albums out there that the general consensus would say are not bloated at all.

One question turned into you guys calling me Meg and insinuating I'm angry you guys don't like the album when even I don't like all the songs on the album but I forget y'all always do this whenever Drake drops something. Anything I say will be turned to me being a mindless stan who desperately wants everyone to love what their fave just dropped lol.

Is it bad that Iβm 1000% more excited about two new ABBA songs than I am about anything Drake has ever released in the history of ever? I donβt dislike Drake. I just personally find his music to be incredibly mediocre and boringβ¦. which Iβm sure many people would say about ABBA π€·ββοΈ To each their own, I guess! We donβt all have to have the same tastes! Sending out an early congrats to Drake for all his new album tracks to be in top half of the Hot 100. No denying his monumental achievements!

Finally listened to the ABBA songs: Donβt Shut Me Down is what you'd expect from an ABBA but I Still Have Faith In You is very very pretty. It's a slow burn and doesn't really have a catchy hook but it's a nice surprise

CLB wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. "Laugh Now, Cry Later" and Scary Hours 2 were bangers so I was expecting more tbh.
