Walmart has an exclusive for this with 16 tracks, with the bonus track being "When You Say Nothing At All".

Blah, the stuff she already released i like - but literally none of these new songs are doing it for me. Give me Bar Back or Seen You in Your Hometown over any of them.

^Is it a cover of the Keith Whitley song? I was wondering this as well, I had a copy in my hand and almost bought it but decided to wait because I'd rather get it on vinyl (don't know if that is an option, didn't see it). Hopefully a copy of this song gets uploaded to youtube

After one spin, this is definitely a solid album, but I don't think the highs generally hit the height of the highs from her last album... though there's definitely room for a lot of the songs to grow on me. The album just gives off a good-but-not-great vibe, which is unfortunate because Lauren Alaina has the vocal chops to deliver an award-worthy record of perfection. She's very consistently a cut above most though and I do love that.

Change My Mind is THE song from the album, it made me ball my eyes out last night. She should do more big power ballads, like The Other Side and Change My Mind, that's where she shines the most for me.

She should do more big power ballads, like The Other Side and Change My Mind, that's where she shines the most for me. It would also set her apart from the pack, so it surprises me she doesn't lean into that more. Maren, Kelsea, and Carly all lack the vocal ability to deliver a power ballad and we've seen from the likes of Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, and Carrie Underwood that it's a winning formula for country radio. I'd love to see her release one as a single and for it to do well, because I can see it doing wonders for her career.

Carly and Kelsea are both definitely more limited vocalists who have to release songs that fit their voice, but Maren has the potential to be a Martina/Carrie type of belter if she wants to. Something like "Once" or "Second Wind" proves that. Gabby Barrett as well. I agree with you though that Lauren should absolutely lean into that aspect of her talent more, because it would absolutely set her apart from the pack! Between her and Maren and Gabby, Lauren has the most pleasant-sounding 5th octave belts by far, lol.

I did think of Gabby Barrett but didn't mention her because she is a lot newer and it remains to be seen just how well she establishes herself in the genre, but she's off to a great start obviously and she does fit the vocal mold of being able to belt a power ballad with the best of them. That said, as much as I love Maren's voice and think she is a great and capable vocalist, I certainly cannot imagine her properly nailing really any of the power ballads in Lauren Alaina's repertoire thus far. She would not sound nearly as good singing "The Other Side" or "Same Day Different Bottle" or "Like My Mother Does."

Okay, I’m IN LOVE with this album. Top to bottom I love every track.
“It Was Me”, “Change My Mind”, “On Top of the World” are initial standouts, with so many other killer songs.
Absolutely love this album! ♥️

Only three days since release, but "Good Ole Boy" is running away in the streams. I can't seem to find it in any major playlists or anything, which tells me there is quite a bit of interest in the song. I know it's been the focus promo song for now, but it's getting 6x the streams as the other new releases.

"Good Ole Boy" is hands down the best song on the new album that wasn't already previously released, so it's smart to focus on that one to promote the album imo. I would consider it a viable single option for her follow-up to the Pardi duet, too. It is an absolutely stunning song in all aspects, and I feel like it would be one of the better choices they could make, since I think fluffier songs like "When the Party's Over" and "Same Story, Different Saturday Night" would fail to do anything for her career.

I hesitate to discuss singles for Lauren Alaina, because she (Pardi duet aside, we'll see how it ends up) is a consistent visitor of the 20s and 30s. In fact, 8 of her 9 singles previous to the current one peaked in the 20s or 30s on MB. That being said...
I think it is safe to say we'll get one, MAYBE two other singles from this album era. There are certainly lots of options that could be viable, though most of them would peak where the rest of her singles did.
Songs that could work, but would probably do nothing: "Run", "Same Story, Different Saturday Night", "When The Party's Over"
Songs I actually think would be smart: "If the World Was a Small Town", "Good Ole Boy", "What Do You Think Of?" (hesitant here...this would nail HAC though),
What I think is actually going to happen: After "Getting Over Him" peaks, hopefully at #1 in like 9 months, another single will be sent (all signs point to "Good Ole Boy" so far), but then Chris Young will push their duet TABE as his final single from his album. TABE will go #1 and whatever solo single LA has will peak in -- yep -- the 20s or 30s.
It has been really fun to listen to this album over the long weekend, it's growing on me in a big way. Kind of a masterpiece, actually. More thoughts to come. What a great, criminally underrated artist with one of the most interesting careers in the industry right now.

Unfortunately Lauren is a hit and miss artist when it comes to charts. So I’m not sure if there’ll be any good charted singles here.

The highs on here are great (“Good Ole Boy” and “Change My Mind”) but overall I think it’s a slight step down from Road Less Traveled. Nothing bad here mind you, I just was expecting more based on the EPs.

Think it’d be smartest to push Getting Over Him till it peaks (hopefully in the top 10.) Then release the Chris Young duet. And have her next single be from a new project after that peaks. Unless radio changes toward LA the another single from this project probably wouldn’t do anything but have a marathon run into the top 30.

Loved the album. At first I thought it was missing some uptempos (especially amongst the new songs), but I don't even mind anymore.
I still think some songs from the EP that didn't make the cut ("Bar Back", "The Other Side" and "Seen You in Your Hometown") are better than a lot of the new songs, but I'm okay with them not being there to make room for more songs.
I love "On Top of the World", "Change My Mind" and "When the Party's Over". The previously released songs are all amazing as well. Still not sure if I like this better than the "Road Less Traveled" album, but I feel like it's more cohesive and slightly more country.
On another note, I hate how her label couldn't give her at least ONE TV promo slot for the release week. Her team is so bad at promo. It could really help her boost her sales. Right now it looks like this won't even chart on the Billboard 200 (according to the Rolling Stone building album chart) even though it will probably chart on the top15 of the Top Album Sales. Streaming really dragged this down but a couple of perfomances would help.

I really am loving this album. It is great. I was kind of bummed to see that the album was missing more of her uptempo moments. But as lipe said above, I'm okay with it now. The two songs that aren't clicking for me oddly enough are "Getting Good" and "Run." If they had replaced "Getting Good" with either "In My Veins" or "Somebody Else's Problem" and "Run" with "Seen You In Your Hometown," I wouldn't have a single issue with the album. Her songwriting has continually gotten stronger and I think lyrically it is miles above the stuff on Road Less Travelled. "It Was Me," "Good Ole Boy," and "Change My Mind" are my top three right now. Really rooting for her success. She deserves to be at the top of this genre. She is a freaking talent and country music needs more of her.

It updates daily so when I checked it wasn't on the top200. Still could be higher with better promotion, but at least it won't miss the chart! Deserves so much better though.

Spotify stats one week in, including pre-release stats!
1) It Was Me - 388K (80,203 week streams) 2) If The World Was A Small Town - 1M (114,881 week streams) 3) Getting Good (feat. Trisha Yearwood) - 42.1M (209,363 week streams) 4) Sam Story, Different Saturday Night - 48.1K 5) On Top Of the World - 49.6K 6) Run - 9.4M (84,858 week streams) 7) What Do You Think Of? (with Lukas Graham) - 6.6M (~50,000 week streams) 8) I’m Not Sad Anymore - 47.8K 9) Getting Over Him (feat. Jon Pardi) - 7.5M (1,027,219 week streams - 1st on Hot Country playlist) 10) Good Ole Boy - 229.6K 11) When The Party’s Over - 39.6K 12) You Ain’t A Cowboy - 44.8K 13) Goodbye Street - 37.3K 14) Written In The Bar - 39.1K 15) Change My Mind - 40.8K
While "Good Ole Boy" had a little playlisting help from New Music Friday, it's still far and running away as the most streamed new release. Hard to tell if any of the pre-releases are doing better with the album rollout - I did notice just from memory that ITWWAST went from the 800K range to breaking 1M in this week. This album is an absolute grower and I hope people give it at least a few spins before developing opinions on it.
Edit: The Pre-release stats are included. Definitely outshining the rest of the new songs with the sole exception of "Good Ole Boy", but that makes sense.

Spotify stats one week in. Wish I had the pre-releases earlier stats so it would be a true record, but it'll do: 1) It Was Me - 388K (pre-release) 2) If The World Was A Small Town - 1M (pre-release) 3) Getting Good (feat. Trisha Yearwood) - 42.1M (pre-release) 4) Sam Story, Different Saturday Night - 48.1K 5) On Top Of the World - 49.6K 6) Run (pre-release) - 9.4M 7) What Do You Think Of? (with Lukas Graham) (pre-release) - 6.6M 8) I’m Not Sad Anymore - 47.8K 9) Getting Over Him (feat. So, I do have the pre-release stats (streamings of each song one day before the album dropped), and they were like this: Getting Good - 41,890,637 Run - 9,315,142 What Do You Think Of? - 6,554,071 Getting Over Him - 6,472,781 If the World Was a Small Town - 885,119 It Was Me - 307,797
