1974 hit that I recall hearing it on the AC stations (such as Lite FM 93.9) or during the "Quiet Storm" late night hours on the R&B stations (WGCI, V103) when I was younger. I always hated this sickeningly sweet song but can be used in funny situations. There was a Season 1 episode of "South Park" where the boys are playing pee-wee football and Stan's uncle Jimbo planted a bomb on a horse and if John Stamos's less-famous brother hits the high notes while performing it, the horse blows up. This song was also used a Visa commercial around 2006 it was played at a Pittsburgh Steelers/Tennessee Titans NFL game and everyone, from the fans to the players, are awkwardly confused. music video/performance www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_xIBfrdxQUSouth Park clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fo-qmliVAIVisa NFL Minnie Riperton commercial from the 2000s. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGuDMhJFYjY
