I mean are we shocked by there being website sales π? It's whatever at this point, BB don't care, the only people that are rooting for this at this point are the delusional stans and the BB exec that cums himselfs whenever one of their tweets reach 500k likes.
It'll be a two week number one AT best. As this goes on BTS will get ever so closer to actual legendary artist number one counts and that's when labels will push for change.

In fact, not much I've heard from her since has really enticed me, especially in recent years with all her generic EDM collabs. As far as I'm concerned, Ghost is her high water mark (though I hear that Chapter One is a pretty good album, I should probably check it out). |

Yeah, there've been a lot of good 'Ghost' songs lol!!
Ella Henderson's was absolutely epic!! It was big in her native UK and elsewhere internationally, too bad it didn't do as well here. As a debut single, it really had the potential for Bleeding Love or Royals-type level of success.
Katy Perry's was very good too, one of my favorite tracks from Prism, a very nice driving beat!
Justin's is also good, but it sounds a little too similar to Anyone. They could put it out to tie it in with Halloween, but other than the title, the lyrics or sound don't have anything to do with Halloween or ghoulishness.

I'm not sure why we're still so surprised award shows get so little viewers but sports get a ton. Sports are a regular fixture of TV while awards happen once a year and they've been declining for years now.

That was a ratings disaster waiting to happen, lol. Um I doubt the majority of the 2021 VMA demographic (LGBT stans, teenage girls, etc) was tuned into football lmao. MTV is a sinking ship in general that was somehow overtaken by Rob Dyrdek along with award shows being a thing of the past overall at this point. The point about MTV in general sinking is pretty overlooked by most because it does effect their award ratings big time IMO. MTV no longer has any popular shows so they donβt have a general tuned in audience that will also watch VMAs. Itβs not a coincidence the 2011 VMAs was their highest rated, it was the same year Jersey Shore became their biggest ratings magnet ever. When people are tuned into MTV watching regular programming constantly then they tune into the MTV Awards by association. You see it promoted on MTV for weeks straight and think βwell I guess Iβll tune inβ. However if you havenβt watched MTV in general the entire year then you arenβt gonna care and probably wonβt even realize when the awards are happening. |

I fully expect LNX to throw the kitchen sink to try to get Industry Baby the #1 when he releases the album on Friday. that performance last night was quite delish and will surely help. I have to thank LNX for making me realize how foine Jack Harlow is π well the performance would have been better if lil nas had playback..I can't stand his live vocals.. he was lip-sync on VMAS 2019 performance for a reason!! |
