This grows on me more each time I listen to it. I like it. Plus, that video is just campy fun. Basically up Ed's alley. And I agree - Elton's voice sounds great.

I was really looking forward to this record but I didn't like it. I like Ed's stuff and I grew up on Sir Elton's music, feeling a bit disappointed. I will continue to play "Step Into Christmas" whilst "Merry Christmas" explodes on the charts.

This was an awesome Holiday collaboration with Ed and Sir Elton that didn't at all disappoint, These lyrics were uplifting in a motivating way, And they invoked that feeling of hope during a very difficult time.

It's fun, and certainly better than most other new Christmas songs from the past five years. I'd be surprised if it doesn't become a contemporary classic like Underneath The Tree and Santa Tell Me.
