Love this song. Amazing single choice. Hopefully Brett can regain the momentum with this.

Ugh, I really liked "Not Yet". I get that it did sound just like every other Brett Young uptempo, but it was still nice. Anyway, hope this does well for him. I like him on my radio and it's been sad to see him fizzle.

Kinda surprised they're going back to the same EP/"album" for another single instead of launching with new music after how quickly "Not Yet" was let go. Not sure if "You Didn't" is the right move or not, but I guess we'll see. It does sound like a quintessential Brett Young single and it IS good -- I like all his material though -- but I feel like he's at a point in his career where he really needs a song that stands out in a big way again, and I was half expecting them to just have him lie low until 2022 and start fresh with something new. I hope this does well for him though.

If they were going with another single I wouldâve went with with âThisâ. I honestly think they would have been better going with something completely new since âNot Yetâ failed miserably.

Great video. I'm addicted to this song and I'm hoping it picks up steam and goes all the way to number 1. Definitely one of my favorite Brett Young singles.

I am curious to see how this does especially since "Not Yet" completely derailed his momentum it feels like. This is at #54 on Billboard after 12 weeks which isn't good but not awful by 2022 standards.
That being said, I don't get why the label thought this was a good single choice after his last flopped because I have listened to this song 3 times today in hopes it would stick and it has not at all. It sounds fine enough, but not memorable at all imo and does not stand out which I feel like Brett Young kind of needs and this song isn't it imo.

I don't know man, this song gets stuck in my head like glue. My friend asked me if I'd heard it earlier this morning and it has honestly been stuck in my head all day - and I didn't listen to it at all, in fact the only thing I've listened to today is the Morgan Wade album. That chorus is an earworm.

I love this song, but I heard it 24/7 for a while last year so I am a bit over it. No arguing that it's an earworm for me though.

With the success of "Never till Now" do you think that will replace this on radio?

I absolutely love this now. I would love to see this take off, it wasn't immediate for me but it's a great song.

I still don't know why "Not Yet" didn't become a hit... so I sure hope this one becomes a hit!

Seems like this is done? This is a beautiful song, so sad that it did not become a bigger hit, but looking at how slowly it was climbing, it was about the time... Neither "Not Yet" or this deserved to flop, so hopefully his follow-up would bring him back some momentum.

But Iâve been feeling like this is nearing the end of its run soon. He hasnât had a single that excited me in a while. I loved his debut so Iâm hoping I can stab like I did back then again!

This was good, but I preferred "Not Yet" and was surprised enough that one flopped as bad as it did. I thought this one would do a bit better given its run so far, but I won't complain if they've pulled it because it's clearly not going to get him back on top w/ country radio. He really needs to come out with another "In Case You Didn't Know" or "Don't Wanna Write This Song" for his next single, something that's gonna stand out and move the needle. I think it was probably a mistake that they didn't release the latter from his last album cycle and just moved onto new music.

IDWWTS would have been a really high impact hit after âCatchâ I think. They rushed to the new album and it was only 8 songs, so I donât get why. It didnât feel complete anyway.

Does this still seem to be winding down, or has it seen a bit of a second wind?

I just got a radiotraks survey for Brett Youngâs âYou Ainât Here To Kiss Meâ off of Brettâs debut album. I guess they are considering this as his next single. I remember hearing this song on the Highway a couple years ago.

I mean, most of the leftover album tracks from his debut are miles better than anything heâs released since, so itâs not a terrible idea. Although, Iâd prefer âMemory Wonât Let Meâ over âYou Ainât Here to Kiss Meâ.

I remember hearing this song on the Highway a couple years ago. How is that possible? Maybe a remix or something. Are there precedents for this? Itâs happened before, most recently with Kip Moore re-releasing a re-recorded version of âCrazy One More Timeâ from his debut album, which came out a decade ago already. The song didnât catch on unfortunately because Kip has no momentum at radio sadly. Two better known examples I can think of are Brad Paisleyâs âWaitin on a Womanâ and Keith Urbanâs âYou Look Good in My Shirtâ, both of which went to #1. Each song was originally included on an album that was released a few years before the songs became singles, and then those songs were included on a second album as well since they became big radio hits.

Garth Brooks did it with "Wild Horses".
