I come from the future (12 hours in the future) so preview of New Music Friday releases: another slow Friday for interesting album/EP releases, we do have a couple handful that'll be worth listening to, but we've got a couple really interesting singles from Ava Max, Little Mix, yeule, Lolo Zouaï, Slayyyter, Foxes, and Charli XCX - Charli'll have the best release today. So in case the big A-list men disappoint (which I think they will tbh), the women delivered

So do we know what Travis is actually dropping tonight? My first thought was that this is the lead off single for Utopia but people are acting as if it's a bunch of new songs (or hell even an album)

the rumor right now is that it's a precursor mixtape called Dystopia but I'm still not sure if it's a lead single for Dystopia or the mixtape as a whole

I'm just hoping for Heat Waves to hit top 10 so it can break the record for longest climb to top 10 (I think the previous record was 30-something week?). If it does reach the top 10 in this chart week, the 42 week journey to the top 10 would equal the amount of time Radioactive takes to reach the top 5.

The only reason I'm fine with IB's dubious number 1 is because it was robbed by the song of the summer so it deserved at least a week. It took a week off Stay which was already a multi-week number 1 so in my eyes it's ok.

Sad but true, anytime the song is "ft. Post Malone" then it's not gonna succeed in charts. It should be Post Malone ft. The Weeknd or credit both as lead artists (like Post and Swae Lee from "Sunflower")

I don't think Motley Crew's level of success should be any indicator as to how this new song is gonna do, that song flopping wasn't because the public doesn't like Post Malone anymore it was because they didn't like that song

Ed Sheeran's numbers are somehow even worse than the estimates. His highest song is not even at 6,000,000 streams on American Spotify for the week. He is absolutely being carried by airplay. The project is going to be out of the top ten before Christmas
