What a weird disconnect between those 20 weeks inside top 10 and the lack of impact of Bad Habits overall. Just shows Ed is still a radio darling and his songs have legs on streaming even if they don't peak high anymore. |

And this is a record for the most as a lead artist, correct? As I recall, at least two Drake songs that charted the week of the Scorpion album bomb were features on other songs (namely Look Alive and Yes Indeed). |

It's been doing well on all three metrics, high YouTube views, at least decent radio callouts, so I don't know what you mean. Just because you and/or people in your circles don't like or listen to it much doesn't indicate a "lack of impact." |

I am happy for Taylor and I think it's cool she's #1 with a 9 year-old album cut they initially probably didn't expect or try to get there, it's almost as organic as it gets (the multiple last-minute releases notwithstanding). Extra impressive that she was also able to chart so many other songs. I think the ultimate outcome of this is that they will see how much her fans and the public is behind her and she will be able to leverage it to regain control of her masters. The only thing I would point out though is that it's a little dubious to count the re-recorded songs that previously charted and are nearly the same as the originals as new entries and up her total for chart record purposes, even though they are technically correct in doing so.

Christmas songs reentering in November and D list songs entering at 49 Christmas week because they’re just on a bunch of Christmas music playlists |
