Both versions of ATW combined have approximately the same amount of streams on its first day that Fair Trade by Drake ft. Travis Scott had on its own first day. That song was one of 5 to debut above a rather weak Stay on CLB week, so I think it’s very possible for Taylor to do the same if Billboard does combine both versions.

I don't use YouTube as much as I used to but Ed is always going on and on about how he leaves "no stone unturned" when it comes to pushing and marketing his music so I guess this is one such instance.

Maybe it's just me but I'm finding it hard to get into the Taylor Version albums. The OG albums will always be the best versions to me. Yes, I check out my favorite tracks on the new versions of the albums but after a few listens, I'm back to listening to the OG versions (there's just something about Taylor's voice back 8-13 years ago that expressed pain and heartbreak a lot better than her voice seems to be able to do now) and so far, the tracks from the vault just aren't doing it for me. I'm still buying digital versions of the re-releases and streaming as much as I can in their weeks of release but that's as far as my support for them goes.

I'm happy the albums are seeing success, though and I'm glad other Taylor fans are geuninely enjoying going back to the TV albums — I'm just not one of them.

I'm swapping the old versions with the new ones as soon as they drop. I do think a few songs have suffered ("You Belong with Me", "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Getting Back Together" in particular) but it's not a big enough change that I feel the need to go back and stream the originals and thus I can safely deny Scooter those $0.000000004.

The vault tracks from RED were much better. I still see why none of these made the original tho. And the added bonus tracks, standalones and vault tracks have made both albums kinda bloated. But it's basically a collector's item for the fans and in that regard I think it's a success.

RED vinyls are already shipping this week, unlike evermore or Fearless TV. Expect a bigger debut number in spite of the potential of it not going back to #1. Maybe she'll ship some signed copies in January to take advantage of some slow week. With the Adelecalypse next week it's kind of a no brainer that it's gonna take a while for RED to have a shot at #1 again, for a while at least.

Choco I agree. I think most of the re-recorded tracks for Red (TV) were better than most on Fearless (TV) but I don't know, I still prefer the OG versions of the songs. For example, no version of Sad Beautiful Tragic will ever be better than the OG version to me, I'm sorry. I know it sucks because Taylor doesn't own the masters to the OG albums but I listen to the digital versions of the OG albums anyways so I'm not making Scooter or whoever owns the masters to those albums now any money. I'm just playing songs I've owned for 10+ years. There also seems to be a misunderstanding most Taylor fans have in regards to her not owning the masters to her older albums. She doesn't own the masters to them but she still makes the most money off them through publishing (which is where the real money is) so streaming/buying those albums still makes her the money. She just wants to (rightfully) also own the masters to all her albums but supporting songs from the OG albums also puts money in her pocket (for anyone confused about that).

I also agree on the TV albums being bloated. I get that they function pretty much like collector's items for fans but like my digital version of Red from 2012 has 16 tracks. Seeing 31 tracks for the TV album scared me.
