ok i just got another list, brining up the total to 30. so let's do another ballot update!!

our posters stepping up to the plate this time around are trilogy, AwesomePostMalone, DJDaveMick69, twigs, 🌺CountryLineDancer, CF15, ilikemilk, anthony11554, fireflies, dremolus - solarpunk, Gonza'90, lyhom, lights, inverse, and sirnice!

-one of the 5 songs that spent every movement in the top 10 in the last ballot update fell out and is now still currently outside the top 10

-the song that was #1 at the end of the last ballot update is still at #1

-so you know how i was saying in the last ballot update that the top 3 was very close together? well, almost as if on cue, in the interim between then and now, things have widened drastically. #1 now holds a 90 point lead over #2, and #2 alone holds a 57 point lead over #3. of course, there's still time, but the #1 is looking like it's firmly solidified itself for the time being

-so how have things changed in the bottom 10? well, all 6 songs that spent the entire time in the bottom 10 are still there

-the #100 has switched multiple times since the last ballot update, and the current #100 wasn't the #100 during the last ballot update, though it has touched the bottom several times before

-things have also widened a lot in the bottom 3, though not nearly as much as in the top 3. right now, the #100 is 57 points behind #99, and #99 is 27 points behind #98.

-now addressing those surprises: the surprising song in the top 20 in the last ballot update is now closing in on the top 15. again, there's still time, but i'm impressed by its performance rn. meanwhile, that surprising song outside the bottom 10? it's not even in the bottom 20 anymore lmao

-there was some talk about the #11 curse several pages back, so how many points away is the current #11 from being the next #11 curse? right now, 26 points separate #11 from the top 10, while the #91 has just 3 points to make up to escape the bottom 10.

-so now time to talk about the SDs. that surprising top 10 highest SD from the last ballot update isn't even in the top 30 highest SDs anymore, so that was fun while it lasted. the highest SD right now is at #73 and it's the same song that was the highest SD in the last ballot update. its position as the highest SD isn't as safe as it used to be though, with the 2nd and 3rd highest SDs being at #78 and #88 respectively and them being right behind it.

-there were somewhat big changes in the low SD ground since last time, though. the 3rd lowest SD is at #86 and is the same song that was the 3rd lowest SD in the last ballot update, but the previous top 2 lowest SDs are, somehow, not even top 20 lowest. the new top 2 lowest SDs are the current top 2 of the rankdown

-we've got one tie right now, currently located at #51

"Love Again" would have quite possibly squeezed into my top ten. I'm genuinely curious as to why "We're Good" gets so much hate, other than for making the year-end while being inferior to "Love Again". And "Somebody Like That" would have certainly been my highest-ranked country song.

I'm definitely on the negative end for this year. There are songs that made my top half that I would not mind if they got a bottom 10-20 ranking. I very much like my top 10 though so I guess it's a bit of a polarizing year.
