Okay so the songs are interesting to talk about so thots on them:
#40. Well...it's a Foo Fighters song, that's for sure
#39. Lmao, Imagine Dragons makes a passable song and y'all go gaga over it.

#35. I know people don't really care for this that much but as someone who's not a huge CHVRCHES fan, this actually grew on me.

40. Foo Fighters - Making a FireThis is quite unfortunate. Based on the fact that many have turned their back on Guitar Rock I knew it wouldn't go top 10, but I figured at least a top 25 for this jam. And it is a full throttle jam. Probably one of my favorites from the band. Everything fits together like honey on poptarts. It's poppy, but the Foos do Poppy the best out of all the alternative rock bands anyway. Perfect intro lined with some delicious female backups. The flame of the song is kept burning HOTT by Dave's perfect rock tones. Not to mention the song has a mega catchy and melodic guitar hook that would put most hard rock songs to shame. 39. Imagine Dragons - WreckedThis trainwreck of a song song is wrecked. "nuff siad. 38. Peach Tree Rascals - MariposaIdk how many guys are singing on this song, but one of them has "those tones" that make me wanna stick flaming coals in my ears. I'll be forever tanking singers that sound like they are singing while experiencing the worst hang over of their life. 37. Cage the Elephant - Skin and BonesFinally a band gets the correct slot for the work they put out. It's definitely a Cage The Elephant Psychedelic goody, but they have done much better. 36. Måneskin - I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVEBased on what's on this list I gave this a top half slot, but I really don't care for this guy singing in English. His tones seem to gel better with his native tongue. That being said the band makes great music and I would like them way better with another singer. On a final note HOT HOT HEAT were fucking awesome.  35. CHVRCHES - He Said She SaidThis band has lost a lot of their musical charisma. I didn't tank this , because she has very pleasant and aesthetic vocals, but to prove my point not even "Good Girls" soared on my personal charts. 34. The Knocks f/ Foster the People - All About YouAll this indiepop stuff is starting to sound the same. If you notice I kinda crammed them all together mid list. BTW indiepop going this dull road is what got me into K-POP in the first place. 33. The Black Keys - Crawling KingsnakeThese guys can and have put out some full throttle fire in the past. This one gets a bit boring midway, but it's proper Alt rock, has guitar, and I'm here to save Alternative rock the best I can. As long as it's catchy and melodic that is. 32. I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME - New Invention Just outside my top 10. This is the kind of groove I like in my Alt rock. Great vocals, Song goes where you want it melodically ,and it rides a bad ass bassline. Also this jam is still climbing on my charts. 31. Bastille - Distorted Light BeamDan here could be the culprit who got that "Indie vioce" started in the first place. He carries it well and it sounds natural, but all these other clowns forcing their vocals to sound like this just sound Fugly. This song is ok. Got into it waaaaay toooo late, so I just let it pass. 30. Lorde - Solar PowerUnless you have a similar name to her or are a fanboy it might be hard for a full throttle rock head to dig this. I consider myself a semi fan cause I squeezed it into my top half. It's a nice little tropical bop, but you know I really only return to it for the music video. This ain't no "Team" nor "Yellow Flicker Beat"29. The Smashing Pumpkins - Cyr Mean as slice of "Apocalyptic Disco". Ask me how I knew this was Butterflies & Hurricanes #1 song. Because it is fierce and bad ass that's how. 28. Volbeat - Wait a Minute My Girl Here is a song that I wasn't gonna put at #1, but hey it rocks and that all I ask for from this band. 27. I finally realized how bad her vocals sound to me when she stopped releasing music for satanic aerobics playlists. She sounds like a music box. You know when you are cranking the little dial and music just barely plays or like the tune on a Jack in the box. Think of when some of you go bonkers when Rockers scream their way through music like Brian Jonson, Joe Elliott etc.. I'm that other side of the coin ,and I too loose my S H IT when I hear Billie Eilish wimper her way through music like a scared little child. 26. Meg Myers - Any Way You Wanna Love Now here is an example of good female vocal tones. She sings from the gut. I think I have charted the songs that I think are her best. "Lemon Eyes" and the one that didn't even chart titled "A Bolt From The Blue" This is a Cool song. I probably would have charted this if I listened to it more often. EXTRAS:Only two of this were successful in abstaining from god awful vocals or sounding like down right hypnotic click-a-thonsHold Me Down - The Happy FitsCool little Pop rock song. Probably dropped the ball on this one as I feel my charts would have been one where it would have performed the best. live forever - almost mondayQuite a few songs had this vibe. I do love this guitar vibe, because it's groove, and poppy strong, but still sits nicely in Alt land. I preferred charting other band with similar grooves like TWIN XL instead. You all are really making me beg for that last tank bottom feeder on my list.  Please don't let it go top 25 |

"lemon eyes" only finishing at 73 is one of the worst mistakes 2017 pulse has ever made tbh Just looked it up... Even "Renegades" was higher on that rankdown. Also had "Gold" by Chet Faker randomly at like #87. |
