I can’t even be too upset about this reveal, especially since everything left is solid. Mine Forever is just really catchy though, would’ve been nice if it was their highest

Edit: That was about MF obviously but I kinda saw Hush coming soon too. Great song and I’m glad it did so well on AAA. Would’ve loved if it made a surprise appearance in the top 10 but honestly just glad it outdid its performance from alt

True story. I first came across this on Birmingham Mountain Radio (one of the AAAs I usually listen to and one of the better ones on the panel), who was also the first AAA on Mediabase to add it to my knowledge. I initially had a wtf reaction to this (probably because it was different from other songs the format plays), but this eventually grew on me to love it, and little did I know it would go all the way to #1 on the charts. I do hope we have more indie acts do well on the charts instead of playing the same old Lumineers, Nathaniel Rateliff, U2, etc. acts regardless of their quality.

some of these last couple reveals stung quite a bit, and tbf Down was a bit of a grower for me so i can kinda understand why it isn’t for everyone. though i saw St Vincent live in 2021 and it really made the album as a whole grow on me. i’m obsessed with the song now haha

this top 10 is pretty good. i’ve got 6 top 10s left and everything is in my top 25 so nice. the only songs i am somewhat rooting against are visitor and bed head at this point
