Shouldn't they and Un-Clear Channel be thinking of freshening up their format a bit? Are other new rock alt stations suffering the same fate? Their latest new kid on the block rival from 4 years ago has surpassed them with a 3.6 as of end of DEC..so I have to ask>>which station is playing what folks want to hear?? 6 months ago they started favoring older rock versus new rock, despite being called new rock alternative to this day..used to play 6-8 tunes an hour new and recent..now only 3-5 MAX. Playlist is tight/rigid and new recent tunes heavily played during the summer and fall(such as JET SEETHER NICKELBACK) have dropped off the planet never to be heard again. Makes you wonder who runs these joints nowadays!

Every since their competition, FM 94/9 came on the air two years ago, X has fallen off quite a bit. One thing 94/9 does is play a lot of older alternative music, even going back to the late 70s Clash and Sex Pistols, as to where 91X was going for more of the harder rock sound.
