In HITS Streaming Songs weekly chart, Super Gremlin is #1. We Don't Talk About Bruno is #2, Surface Pressure #3 and Hrs & Hrs #11.

If this is what's going to dominate the charts for the next year or two then honestly I would've just preferred if we stuck to the boring trap, those songs where awful, but at least they were listenable in a specific environment and they weren't dependant on relating to the vocalist We're either getting more boring whisper-sing ballads, or a continued resurgence of punk. I'm rooting for the latter

On some level, I'm glad that the mid-2010s age of EDM producers being major hitmakers is over so that talented performers don't get their strengths sucked away on forgettable songs, but at the same time, I'd be completely OK with that era making a comeback if only to put these whimpering sadgirls out of their misery and make some music with an actual pulse.

Possible Top 12 this week: How the hell is 6 supposed to work? Right? Did they mean to put "6/7" and make this a top 13?

I'm pretty sure they meant to put solely Industry Baby, which would be #5 without Christmas music the previous week. I think Broadway Girls will be around #20.

just listened to Fingers Crossed for the first time... it may just be because of the rock-bottom expectations I had from other reactions I've seen (especially on Pulse) but I don't think it's bad at all. I don't really get how it became an out-of-nowhere hit though...

I still think it's not out of the question for Levitating, Save Your Tears, If I Didn't Love You, Beggin', Montero, Pepas, and maybe 1-2 more recurrent songs to all re-enter this week assuming they're in the top 50. Having seen the last couple of years, I think Billboard will prefer to plug holes left by the Christmas music that was in the top 50 with previously recurrent songs if it's at all possible.

I think part of it is because of how weak the charts are right now but some of these songs I just genuinely never realized were so popular. Like I'm kind of shocked that For Tonight and Heart On Fire could hit the top 50 next week. Also I've really been underestimating Surface Pressure considering how close in position it is to WDTAB

- Elton John, England - Dua Lipa, England - PNAU, Australia - Ed Sheeran, England - Glass Animals, England - The Kid LAROI, Australia - Justin Bieber, Canada - Adele, England If Chart Essentials’ prediction rings true, when was the last time before this that the top 5 was comprised of entirely non-Americans?
I wouldn’t count Canadian Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album bomb week because he had Americans as features.

I think and hope we'll keep getting more regional diversity on the charts as the decade goes on

Wow, the music video for We Don't Talk About Bruno managed 15.8 million weekly views on the US YouTube chart. That's more than twice than those for #2 Super Gremlin and the highest since All Too Well (10 minute version) first week combination all the videos that were released that week for the song.

Like I'm kind of shocked that For Tonight and Heart On Fire could hit the top 50 next week. Echo with this even though I am a massive EC fan. Its streams look like much higher than I thought considering it isn't doing particularly well in Spotify and Youtube. The other prediction that has it at #60 looks more reasonable.

Bruno is only getting MORE popular too... it's huge! If anyone has time, it would be interesting to compare its stats to Let It Go in 2014

Similar to what rimetm has done in the past, I made a top 50 prediction averaging the points of each song across all 3 of the predictors posted here. Note that with ChartEssentials not including returning formerly-recurrent songs in their predictions, I'd take the placements of those songs with a grain of salt (especially Pepas, which was only on Cedric's predictions). For your convenience, those returning songs are highlighted in yellow. Also, tiebreakers were determined by the majority of predictors having one song above the other. {Spoiler}1. Easy On Me - 29,400 2. Stay - 23,233 3. Heat Waves - 21,633 4. Shivers - 19,433 5. Cold Heart (PNAU Remix) - 18,567 6. INDUSTRY BABY - 17,867 7. abcdefu - 17,533 8. Super Gremlin - 17,367 9. We Don't Talk About Bruno - 17,233 10. Bad Habits - 17,000 11. Need to Know - 17,000 12. Levitating - 15,550 13. Smokin' Out the Window - 14,400 14. Fancy Like - 12,867 15. Save Your Tears - 12,650 16. good 4 u - 12,567 17. Surface Pressure - 12,567 18. Ghost - 12,533 19. Essence - 11,633 20. THATS WHAT I WANT - 11,333 21. Kiss Me More - 11,300 22. Broadway Girls - 11,067 23. One Right Now - 10,833 24. Better Days - 10,667 25. Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah) - 10,300 26. Oh My God - 10,200 27. You Right - 10,167 28. Happier Than Ever - 10,067 29. Thinking 'Bout You - 10,067 30. Buy Dirt - 10,000 31. You Should Probably Leave - 9,667 32. I Hate U - 9,567 33. Knife Talk - 9,533 34. Way 2 Sexy - 9,367 35. Meet Me At Our Spot - 9,300 36. Whiskey and Rain - 8,833 37. Beggin' - 8,750 38. If I Didn't Love You - 8,700 39. Sand in My Boots - 8,433 40. Enemy - 8,300 41. Big Energy - 8,267 42. MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) - 7,950 43. Who Want Smoke?? - 7,933 44. Girls Want Girls - 7,933 45. One Mississippi - 7,900 46. Pepas - 7,800 47. Leave the Door Open - 7,500 48. Chosen - 7,233 49. Hrs and Hrs - 7,200 50. Wild Side - 7,200

It's crazy Don McLean had the record for longest song time to go #1 until 2021. Never imagined it would be broken. I guess records are ment to be broken ofc.
