Does anything think 25th anniversary of the woman in me is worth it? I’m at sunrise records and I’m not sure if I should get it. Lol It’s 30 vs 40 on Amazon. I adore the original album, just not sure if I’ll like the remixes and such. I don’t know if it’s special enough. It’s the large book form one, with 3 CDs. I personally think it’s worth it. The magazine gives a lot of insight into the album and the vocal mixes disc is a treasure trove of original takes

right, it sold 5 million+ and because it was a double album it was certified diamond. Still feels weird.

Shania Twain's top 25 most streamed songs (and versions) as of this week: So if you combine versions in this list: 1. Man! I Feel Like A Woman - 363.8 2. You're Still the One - 331.6 3. That Don't Impress Me Much - 168.3 4. Any Man of Mine - 150.1 5. From This Moment On - 119.1 (I'm pleasantly surprised the duet version is so high for her) 6. Honey I'm Home - 40 7. Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under - 36.9 (nice to see this higher on the list since it wasn't a top 10 hit when released) 8. No One Needs To Know - 31.9 9. Forever & For Always - 30.34 10. I'm Gonna Getcha Good! - 28.78 11. Party For Two (w/Billy Currington) - 25.7 12. Hole In The Bottle (w/Kelsea Ballerini) - 25.2 13. Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You) - 22.4 14. Up! - 19.4 15. You've Got A Way - 16.8 16. Life's About to Get Good - 16.49 17. Come On Over - 15.82 18. Love Gets Me Every Time - 14 (I'm sad this isn't higher on her list) 19. You Win My Love - 11.7

^"Whose Bed..." came as close as it could to top 10 country. But, still a decent showing, and it set the stage for "Any Man of Mine" to conquer the format.

I loved the documentary. Not a ton of new information, but it was great to hear it in Shania’s voice.

I enjoyed her documentary! I actually didn’t know she was so intentional about the pop crossover and world dominance going into COO! I just thought YSTO naturally crossed over and they went with the flow.
Speaking of YSTO, that video is so beautiful, sexy and classy. Shania gets a lot of attention for MIFLAW and TDIMM videos (understandably so), but I think YSTO is amazing! Actually, I discovered her and became a fan because of that video. I grew up on R&B music and the pop music of Michael, Janet and Whitney. So I was never going to hear Shania on my radio stations. I was staying over my uncle’s house. He had cable. I stayed up past curfew to watch VH1. YSTO video was playing and I was glued to the TV. I remember think how tasteful that video was and it wasn’t cheesy either. And then I went off to college and COO was everywhere in 1998/99. Shania was the first non R&B or non-black pop artist I listened to and LOVED! Even Madonna came after Shania for me. I used to drive through the hood (my hood) during the summer of 99 blasting the COO album! It got me nearly beat up, but IDGAF.

I don’t like the back cover picture, but I just may buy the cd. I didn’t buy her Greatest Hits in CD form because I didn’t like the new songs and already owned all the other albums.

I went to Target and bought the cd (don’t know why cos I already have the digital version). My biggest pet peeve is when you play cds and they are just labeled “track 1” etc 🤦♂️ Hoping we get a new album soon though before she turns into Garth (always releasing collections that people already own).

I appreciate that she’s added the song to her Vegas set list. Seems to be a hit with the crowd.

I think I'm going to wait for the new album to come out because as I am lead to believe, "Not Just a Girl" will most likely also be on the new studio album.

Why not alter the Vegas setlist to reflect the Not Just a Girl tracklist? :)

Picked up the Not Just a Girl... CD. Pretty skimpy on the booklet, though it's the audio that counts. :)

So excited for this. I love her so much and she looks gorgeous.
If this were 1997 it would be called Waking Up! (Dreaming) lmfao

As she's wearing a cowboy hat, hopefully it will be more country or country-pop than straight-up pop. :)

As she's wearing a cowboy hat, hopefully it will be more country or country-pop than straight-up pop. :) Based on the released clips of the song so far, it is pretty much straight-up pop for the most part. I guess you can classify the post-chorus instrumental break country-pop but I guess it depends on how you look at it.

There's little if anything Country about "Waking Up Dreaming," it's an upbeat and boisterous Pop record and I love it!

For me, this is the best thing she has done since 2004. Instant for me, and she sounds like she’s having fun. Really fun bop, IMO. And the lyrics make sense to me. I really like this.

Classified as Country on Apple Music but sounds like a good ol’ Pop bop to me! Hope we get the album sooner than later.

Waking Up Dreaming is absolutely the best thing she’s done since the Mutt days. It’s all pop and I’m here for it. They absolutely need to send this to Hot AC and AC radio. Would love to hear it on pop too.
