Only complaint is the beginning sounding just like "You Can't Buy Love". Other than that - I think the song is absolutely fantastic.

I like the video alot after the first 30 seconds or so where she doesn't lip sync once. The rest is classic Shania and gives amazing girl power vibes. LOVE the outfits too. SO outlandish and SO Shania. She looks AMAZING. This song is what we all wanted from her. Its nostalgic and GOOD. I hope the album is as strong as this song is!

Still trying to accept that Shania's voice just isn't strong anymore, and that there are going to be parts of songs that are hard to understand, but I agree that this song has great Shania energy, and I hope it's a hit for her, whatever it means to have a hit these days.

Picked up the Not Just a Girl... CD. Pretty skimpy on the booklet, though it's the audio that counts. :) You still buy CD’s? 😱 I only stream nowadays. If I’m absolutely in love with an album, I’ll buy it on vinyl. CD’s don’t have much value to me now. |

I still buy CDs lol because I was a big collector of music and CDs were the mainstream at the time. I own all my favorite albums in CD, so I’ll just continue down that road while I can. Vinyl is nice but I hate having to flip records if they’re only 3-4 tracks a side, plus it would cost too much to replace all my favourite CDs. Plus I’d much rather throw on a CD and easily skip it than with a vinyl. I do enjoy my ABBA Greatest Hits and Frank Sinatras GHs on vinyl though. :)

I own all of Shania' CDs - including compilations (except 'Not Just a Girl: The Highlights' because the title song has been confirmed to appear on her incoming album so I don't see a point in owning an album when each song appears on a different album). There are only certain artists I still buy physical CDs for and Shania is one of them.

Surprised that nothing has been announced about the Come On Over Diamond Edition since the 25th anniversary is next week. Plus, Nov. 4th this year falls on a Friday. It would have been the perfect time to release it.
