This was originally the lead single from her 2nd album Stronger. The original was very Jazz-y and was inspired by "Sing Sing Sing" combined with the main drum loop from the Hex Hector remix of Deborah Cox's then massive "Nobody's Supposed To Be Here" It only came out as a white label 12" with the Thunderpuss remix in 1999. Additional remixes by Junior Vasquez were done too. It has been said that the label balked at the idea of this being a single because they felt it was too artistic and would go over the heads of the record buying public. Despite it not being a single, Kristine performed and promoted it and it remains a fan favorite. The Thunderpuss mix eventually got a commercial release on the CD and vinyl singles for "Stronger." I love this one! It's so festive and fun. I knew this via the Thunderpuss mix before the original and Junior mixes. The scat style that Kristine is singing in for the hook is just so different from anything at that time and since then.
