10. Diving
Standout lyric: “Now I'm at the elevation from a different view looking at the haze we once were” Album: Non-album single (2017)
The chill vibe of this song is amazing! I am fully here for Bridgit delving more into R&B music like this. These types of songs present quite a contrast to Bridgit’s debut album, but I feel like the contrast feels like a very natural development. There are countless examples of artists who try to make pronounced changes to their artistic style, and it feels forced or inauthentic. However, it very clearly comes through that Bridgit is really thriving in expressing herself in this song, and all the 2016 and 2017 work she put out for that matter. Bridgit’s vocals coupled with the production come off very dreamy and almost euphoric. It gives sort of a “calm after the storm” type vibe. The song sounds incredible and it makes me sad that Bridgit hasn’t released anything for the past 5 years and counting. I really hope she’ll get back into the music industry someday, but I guess until then, we have chill bops like this to vibe to!

9. Breakthrough
Standout lyric: “Heartbreak, pick up all the pieces / Don't stop dancin' in the bleachers” Album: Lemonade Mouth (2011)
This is such an empowerment anthem! The song talks about reaching…well, a breakthrough, obviously lol. Bridgit’s vocals sound incredible, and even if it very much sounds like a song that would be in a Disney Channel Original Movie, I still think this is lowkey a major bop and is my favorite of her Lemonade Mouth tracks. Not much to say about this one other than it’s a major feel-good track that still holds up even all these years later!

8. The Fall Song
Standout lyric: “You're like a good book / Snuggled up on the sofa when it's raining outside” Album: Hello My Name Is… (2012)
I love the dualistic nature of the word “fall” in this song! All throughout the song, Bridgit switches back and forth between discussing falling for a lover and the season of fall, and even mixes the two at times. I consider myself somewhat of a basic bitch lol, so fall is one of my favorite seasons - bundling up in sweaters, getting pumpkin spice lattes, and of course the trifecta of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Given this, naturally, a song about fall is automatically something I tend to enjoy, but Bridgit’s dualistic lyrics here is what really hit home for me. I particularly enjoy the bridge of the song, and thought the slow-down worked well. Bridgit’s lighthearted vocals and the bouncy beat complement each other so well, and I love the switch-up of the production in the chorus. She switches it up again and slows down the bridge…that’s our queen of amazing bridges showing off her talent haha. This is such a perfect song in every way, but it’s particularly enjoyable for how unique it is. Bridgit reimagines a typical sad song about love and longing and makes it into a masterpiece through tons of fall metaphors, and the aforementioned dualistic nature.

7. Blonde
Standout lyric: “Maybe if I cared enough to dye my hair, then you'd take me seriously / Maybe I can try to change up their minds so they'd take me seriously” Album: Hello My Name Is… (2012)
This is such an interesting song! I love how Bridgit tackles the harmful stereotype of “dumb blondes” here. She does it in a very tongue-in-cheek way, but it really adds to the song by demonstrating that the whole “blonde” stereotype shouldn’t be based on the binary of being dumb or smart. She admits that she sometimes makes mistakes (“I've clearly forgotten how to spell words like R-E-E-D-I-N-G”), but then turns it around and makes it empowering by talking about how she can quote Shakespeare in her sleep. It just goes to show that you can’t judge a person just by looking at them, and stereotypes like “dumb blondes” aren’t funny, they’re hurtful. I love the variety of her vocals here, particularly in the chorus where she takes her voice up and down to give off a goofy, crazy vibe. It really fits with the song well. The fun, funky production also elevates the song’s quirky nature. The first verse is a bit odd as it doesn’t really get into the “blonde” stereotype until the last line, but I really appreciate this song for what it is.

6. Snap My Fingers
Standout lyric: “Put your arm right around me / Yeah, let her know, let her know I'm the one” Album: Nemesis EP (2016)
I am so here for this indie pop sound for Bridgit. The beat of this track is very groovy and gives off alternative vibes. The moody, hazy production works so perfectly with her particular more R&B leaning vocal register. The song is an empowering bop where Bridgit boasts of commanding a room, causing a potential love interest to “whip, whip, whip” their head around in intrigue. In an interview, Bridgit referred to this EP as her “collection of regret songs,” and this is the only song I’m not really sure how that label for the album fits. Perhaps the song reflects her feeling bad for trying to control others? I love how Bridgit leaves these things open to interpretation, as it makes songs far more interesting and complex in my opinion. It’s songs like this that really makes me wish this EP was longer!
As an amusing side note, when looking up these lyrics on Genius, I first accidentally clicked a song with a very similar name from the Arthur TV show, titled “I Can’t Snap My Fingers!” lmao.

5. Can't Bring This Down (featuring Pell)
Standout lyric: “Wave goodbye to folks at home / Heaven is a place that only we know” Album: Non-album single (2017)
Her vocals in this one give me major Sabrina Carpenter vibes! Bridgit has such a wide vocal range, and she really shows it off here. For most of the song, it feels like she’s in between her high and lower register, but goes into the high register a bit during the chorus. The echo-y production in the beginning of the song leads into a bass-heavy chorus, and the progression sounds wonderful here. I had never heard Pell before this song, but I quite like his contributions to the song. He sounds quite good with Bridgit, both in his individual verses and when he’s singing along with Bridgit in the chorus. He actually reminds me a bit of Kyle (of “iSpy” and “Playinwitme” fame). Bridgit skirts the line between pop and R&B in this song, and she perfectly transcends the boundaries. I really like how dreamy the production of this song is. The fade-out during the outro is flawless in every way - it lasts for a perfect amount of time and just sounds so good! I think the “mentions” line on Bridgit’s part was a little out of place, but it didn’t bother me. Bridgit never fails to deliver a bop, especially in her later era!

I would have put DYMMAA in the Top 3 I think, solid list overall though, Hurricane would be my favorite Thank you! <3 "Do You Miss Me At All" and "Library" kinda switched for me when writing these up. DYMMAA wore on me a bit while "Library" significantly grew on me. As for "Hurricane," I don't want to ruin anything for Saturday's reveal of the top song, but I'll just say I think you may be happy with the final ranking lol. :)

4. Temperamental Love (featuring Devontée)
Standout lyric: “What's a FaceTime? I need face-to-face time” Album: Non-album single (2017)
I’ll admit when I first heard this song a while ago, I was like “am I listening to the wrong song?” when the song instantly started with Devontée’s rap lol. Despite this, the two of them have amazing chemistry together. The flow of Devontée’s rapping goes really well with Bridgit’s R&B-esque vocals. I thought the extra clap five seconds after it seems like the song has already ended was fun and clever haha. I also want to take a moment to appreciate the unique structure of this song. Typically, the featured artist sings a verse or the chorus, but Bridgit flips it and has Devontée rap each of the verses, while she sings the chorus and the bridge. I thought it worked quite well, and found the switch-up fascinating. Personally, I love this sound for Bridgit and wish she would have continued to release music so we could have seen her artistry develop even more. I am not a big fan of Sabrina Carpenter’s R&B-leaning songs, because it feels like she’s trying too hard to sound like Ariana Grande. In these types of songs, Bridgit’s authentic voice as an artist really shines through, and I feel she does R&B songs a lot better than Sabrina does. In fact, I would say she could take a hint from Bridgit, if Sabrina chooses to continue going in this direction. The bouncy beat and upbeat production are just the cherry on top of this incredible song. I absolutely love this era of Bridgit and wish she would have put out more music like it.

3. Ready Or Not
Standout lyric: “You'll be my William, I'll be your Kate / Living like a fairy tale” Album: Hello My Name Is… (2012)
“Ready Or Not” is one of my favorite Bridgit Mendler songs of all time, and my first exposure to her music. I had watched and enjoyed her as Juliet Van Heusen in Wizards of Waverly Place, and remember being super excited when I heard she was releasing an album. I love everything about this song, from the bouncy electropop production to the catchy lyrics. The song has a simple, but effective message of Bridgit being empowered in yourself when she’s pursuing a potential romance. This is such a feel-good song and is criminally underrated in my opinion.

2. Atlantis (featuring Kaiydo)
Standout lyric: “I know how to feel, I know that love exists / But it's asleep with the fishes down in Atlantis” Album: Nemesis EP (2016)
The dark electropop production of this song is top-notch, and Bridgit’s airy vocals perfectly complement it. Lyrically, the song talks about feeling lost and without a purpose after a failed love. You can truly tell she’s grown as an artist since Hello My Name Is… Her vocals sound so much more mature…not that her previous vocals were immature, but the progression of her voice sounds incredible here. I had never heard of Kaiydo before this song either, but I quite like the addition of his rap. It didn’t sound like a “rent-a-rapper” verse and fits in quite well here. I love how Bridgit raps along with him towards the end, and it really elevated the verse. This is truly a unique song in Bridgit’s discography, and deserved more attention than it got.
And that indirectly confirms the final song as "Hurricane." Be sure to check back tomorrow to see my final review for that song!

1. Hurricane
Standout lyric: “I'm boarding up the windows, locking up my heart / It's like every time the wind blows, I feel it tearing us apart” Album: Hello My Name Is… (2012)
Before I first listened to this, I never thought I would have heard Bridgit rapping. It easily could have been done in a cringey way as so many pop singers who have tried to rap have done, but I honestly think her voice sounds amazing in this. It actually kind of gives me a bit of Cher Lloyd vibes. The song itself is about the feelings one experiences when going through a breakup. Bridgit specifically dives into the ups and downs a relationship faces. The production on this song, as with Bridgit’s lyrics, are incredible. I love the switch-up in tempo between the verses and tempo. I also quite liked the casual Wizard of Oz reference she drops in the middle of the first verse. In theory, I feel like the backing vocals in the bridge and final chorus should be annoying, but they just work so well! The combination of the upbeat tempo and Bridgit’s rapping, despite it being a breakup song, makes this track truly stand out and illustrates one of Bridgit’s greatest strengths as an artist. Bridgit is able to take a simple idea, and not only make it into a song, but puts her own unique spin on the topic by presenting it in a way that is different than it is usually presented. It’s one of the things I admire most about Bridgit’s lyricism, and one of the main reasons I think Bridgit is such an underrated artist. This song absolutely deserves its title as Bridgit’s most memorable song! I will fully admit that choosing this as my #1 song was based a lot on nostalgia, because this song brings back a lot of happy memories for me, but I also think it’s an amazing song in general.
Thank you so much for reading these reviews! I wanted to do them as I really enjoyed doing Sabrina's discography a few years ago, and this was equally as much fun! If Bridgit ever releases more music, I will review all of those songs and rank them where they would have been on the countdown. I hope you enjoyed these reviews as much as I did writing them up!

Seeing as 10 “new” songs have found their way online, I'd love to know what your thoughts are on those!
IMO, they paint a very promising picture of where her second album would've gone had she stayed with Hollywood Records. Definitely not on the level of Nemesis, but still a step up from her debut.

MissAmericana I hadn’t heard more unreleased tracks had been found. Thank you so much for letting me know about them! <3 I spent the last hour or so listening to the new tracks, and unlike the previous reviews, I just wrote up my thoughts right after my first listen for each track. I’m not going to rank them, but I’ll give a quick rating for each. How to Do (10/10) Upon first listen, I can honestly say I am in love with this song. I was expecting most of these to range somewhere from decent to good, but this is incredible. The upbeat dance-pop production sounds so good! That chorus is also an absolute earworm, and the lyrics flow so smoothly. This is an instant favorite for me, and I think I’m going to be returning to this one a lot. It’s honestly a crime that this was just lost in the abyss until now. Dedication (7/10) This one wasn’t quite as instant as “How to Do” for me, but it’s still great! The pre-chorus is my favorite part for how nicely it flows, and the verses are also really good! I’m liking the cohesive theme of these two tracks having more dance-pop production, and I’ll be interested to see if it’s a theme throughout these songs, given almost all of them are from her second album. I’m not quite as crazy about the chorus, as that “fall for you, brawl for you, you know I’d climb a brick wall for you” lyric kinda gets old towards the end. The lyrics are very sweet though, and I’d say this is as good as a lot of the Hello My Name Is… tracks. I will admit I’m probably less effusive about this one because “How to Do” spoiled me so much lol. Deeper Shade of Us (9/10) I really like this one! The title seems familiar to me; either she performed it on tour or I’m having deja vu. My favorite part of this song is the vibe that Bridgit’s voice has. It sounds a little more subdued and chill than it typically does, but it works really well to create a serene feeling. I particularly like how her voice sounds in the chorus, it feels so calm and gentle in a way that creates a very carefree vibe. Despite being more upbeat and dancey, the production fits really well with her voice as well. One of the two very minor quips I have with this song is that I’m not really a fan of the voice modulation. It’s presumably there to represent the different shades of the relationship, but I think it’s a tad offputting and detracts from the calm vibe of the song. The ending is also a bit jarring, where it feels like there should have been a few more seconds of instrumental for it to feel complete. Those are very minor quips though and I really like this, and could see it growing on me more. I Fought the Love (9/10) There’s no fighting my love for this one, but this is another incredible song! The production of the track feels a bit experimental, and while it may not reach Nemesis’s level of quality, it’s still a fascinating track! The production being built around the bassline in the verses sounds great, and I like how the production builds towards the end of the verse into a more dynamic chorus. The chorus is super catchy as well! I particularly like the line “I said (I said) no sir (no sir), heart said (heart said) go get closer.” I really like that she tried something different here and the track definitely stands out. Coins in the Air (7/10) Oof, I was a bit worried at the beginning. Possibly a hot take, but the ballads in Hello My Name Is… (All I See Is Gold, Hold On for Dear Love, and Quicksand) are skips for me. They’re nice enough songs, but I didn’t really feel they were notable enough to return to, and I don’t think ballads are particularly Bridgit’s strong suit. That said, this was sounding a lot like the aforementioned slow ballads of her first ballads for the first minute or so, but the production shifted dramatically in the chorus and became more upbeat. I like the concept of her returning to those types of ballads and putting a dance-pop spin on them, to match the vibe of the rest of the album. It’s a little less memorable than the four heard so far, but this is still pretty good! Catalyst (4/10) I was not expecting this sort of song from Bridgit. Her voice and the production in the verses sound good, however, the execution feels very off on the rest. The vocals and lyrics remain good in the pre-chorus, but the production doesn’t work for me. The production feels like it should have shifted immediately when the pre-chorus started, rather than having the production stay the same as the verses throughout most of the pre-chorus. The pre-chorus also feels like it ambles too much, repeating twice, and I think it would have been better if it was quicker and didn’t repeat. At the very end of the pre-chorus, we finally get a bit of a build-up, followed by the drop. And idk…the drop kinda feels…stagnant? From how long the pre-chorus took the build, I was expecting a big drop, and it’s just kinda generic and bland. The production needed to be much more fluid to represent the explosive feelings Bridgit is singing about. Instead, it feels cookie-cutter and like the lyrics and production were created in two separate rooms by people who never talked to each other. I can see what Bridgit was trying to do here, but the execution feels weirdly off and it prevents me from fully enjoying it. Timeless (8/10) This one is much better than “Catalyst.” The production immediately starts this one off sounding great, and feels much more fluid. Arguably, it rights the wrongs of “Catalyst” by having a more natural-feeling explosive chorus that flows well with the verses. I really like how dynamic her vocal range is on this song, as she switches from having a lower register in the verses, to sounding airy in the pre-chorus, to much more passionate and invigorated in the chorus. The amount of energy she brings to the chorus complements the passionate, lovestruck vibe of the song so well, and I’d say it’s my favorite part of the song on first listen. This is really solid, much better than the last couple. While You Were Sleeping (7/10) I feel like this would have been the perfect bridge from this project into Nemesis (there's even a line about not wanting her heart to be at the bottom of the ocean," which contrasts so well with how "Atlantis" starts by saying her heart is deep underwater) . While it’s not of that same quality, her voice strikes a similar tone to how it sounds throughout that project. I really like this one, but ngl, it kinda made me a little emotional lol. The production has a very sleepy/dreamy feel to it to match the title, but the song also has an undertone of loneliness. It’s a departure from the dance-pop sound, and shifts more towards feeling like an R&B song. The other songs here all felt like the production was much more emphasized, but there’s a complexity to the lyrics here that wasn’t present in the other songs. Bridgit sings about lying awake at night while her lover is asleep, which could be taken literally, but I think “sleeping” could also be interpreted as her lover simply not knowing anything is amiss. She comes to the realization that she’s unhappy here and wants to leave. Yet there’s a bit of hesitancy in her delivery, because she is afraid of being alone and doesn’t want to destroy a relationship that could be potentially salvaged. I have to say, this subject matter within a song always makes me kind of emotional, because I’ve been through situations like that before, and it is awful and heartbreaking to have to make a decision like that. I’m sure my feelings will change on this song, but as of right now, I like quite a few elements of the song, but also feel like it could fall into the category of being a bit too depressing to want to return to often. Cold (5/10) So I had listened to this one back when it came out, but I’m listening to it again. I kinda like elements of this, but overall I would say it’s mediocre. The “uh-huh, uh-huh”s in the verses feel a tad awkward, and I think the chorus feels a bit too repetitive. I like the quickness of the pre-chorus, particularly the “pretty icicles” line, and I do like the lower register that she’s using for her vocals. I see the vibe here and kinda want to like it, because I feel it’s slightly relatable (or at least it was at one time in my life), but idk, it’s just not quite clicking for me. Flowers (4/10) I would say I like this less than “Cold.” I would say her voice is just about the only thing I like about it. The lyrics and the production are okay, but I don’t feel it’s anywhere near the same quality of the rest of Nemesis. Even if it does kinda have the same sound as Nemesis, I find the production pretty boring tbh. I wouldn’t say I actively dislike it; it’s just kinda unmemorable and I’m indifferent to it. Overall, I really liked a lot of these! I felt like this was a very natural progression from Hello My Name Is… and I would have enjoyed seeing a fully dance-pop sound on Bridgit’s second album. I’m curious if there were more completed songs on this second album that we don’t know about, as I can’t imagine it was just these 8. The whole trajectory of Bridgit’s career is fascinating to me, because at this point, it honestly seems like there are more hidden pieces to her discography than the stuff we actually got to see lol. I’d not mentioned it here, but I also had heard a live version of another unreleased song, “Salem,” from Nemesis a while back (I think I’ve heard a couple other live songs from that era too, but “Salem” was the standout). I feel we were really robbed on not getting “Salem,” it sounded like the studio version would have been amazing. (Also, speaking of Nemesis, I just have to say I severely underranked "Do You Miss Me At All" in the original rankings. The song is such a vibe and I like it a lot more than the original rankings - same with "City Lights.") “How to Do” was easily the best of the bunch for me. I’ll admit that song set really high expectations, but the rest of the album was still pretty solid! “Deeper Shade of Us,” “I Fought the Love” and “Timeless” are the ones I felt were most memorable,” but Dedication,” “Coins in the Air” and “While You Were Sleeping” were also quite solid. “Catalyst” and “Flowers” were the duds of the group, and “Cold” is kind of in an in-between space where there are elements I like but it doesn’t fully click.

Thank you so much, this was such a fun read! I have some comments/thoughts of my own about what I've highlighted below that I think are worth sharing so I'll just drop them in here! Dedication (7/10) Catalyst (4/10) I was not expecting this sort of song from Bridgit. Deeper Shade of Us (9/10) I really like this one! The title seems familiar to me; either she performed it on tour or I’m having deja vu. Cold (5/10) Flowers (4/10) I’m curious if there were more completed songs on this second album that we don’t know about, as I can’t imagine it was just these 8. So, regarding Dedication, that one might actually be my favorite! There's something that's kinda fun and dorky about it that I think captures some of those evolved Hello My Name Is... vibes that I expected from her follow up album for the longest time. I also placed it directly after Catalyst on my version of the album (which I agree is easily the weakest of the bunch), so maybe I like it more because it's a refuge of sorts from the EDM hellscape that is that song. Speaking of, Catalyst might actually be a collaboration with an EDM producer! This isn't confirmed but I've seen several people suggest that because of how ill-fitting it is and I definitely agree. If it isn't, then whoever produced it was certainly doing their level best to imitate one of the DJs that was popular during that time... Zedd, maybe? And lastly for the Hollywood Records batch of songs, Bridgit did in fact perform Deeper Shade of Us on tour! I believe it was a regular part of her setlist in 2014 and I still revisit the live recording regularly because the song is just that good (less so since now we have the studio version). I feel similarly about Cold and, when she teased it on her Twitter in 2021, I was puzzled as to why Bridgit chose that song to share. It's noticably weaker that most of her Nemesis material and I'm even more surprised by that upon learning it was actually recorded in 2017. I'd initially thought it was possibly the first song she'd written/recorded in a while and just wanted to show fans that she'd recorded new music but at this point, I doubt that's ever happening. As for Flowers, I agree to some extent. I loved the live version but once I heard the studio version, the production (especially the intro) stuck me as odd. It's grown on me, but I vastly prefer the sound of the studio version. I'm certain there's more songs to come from this album! Just from the Hollywood Records album alone, there's maybe four to six songs on the verge of being out in the open, namely Twisted (a Julia Michaels co-write, interestingly enough), Skeleton (which Bridgit stated was her favorite from the album) and My Way (which she also performed alongside Deeper Shade of Us). From the Nemesis sessions, Oxygen (which she, again, performed on tour) is circulating, as is a song called Loyalties (about the drama between her, Samantha Boscarino and Shane Harper). I'm really looking forward to hearing these and looking forward to seeing what you think of them!

I also really like how much "Dedication" mirrors the quirky sound of Hello My Name Is.... I agree with you it's slightly more evolved than her debut, but I also don't feel it would be out of place at all if it were made a bonus on the first album or something. It fits really nicely with that sound. "Catalyst" being a DJ collab makes so much more sense! I'll bet whoever leaked these must have found a file with the rough concept (emphasis on rough lol) of what her label wanted to the track to be, but it was likely cancelled before they got to complete the track with the actual production. Glad I'm not alone in feeling that way about "Cold." I'm still a little puzzled as to why she chose that song to share back in 2021, it seems like such a non-notable unreleased track to tease compared to the other stuff she has. I checked out the live version of "Flowers" and I like that production a bit better. I still don't love the song in general, but it's a bit more enjoyable than the studio version for me. I've been a bit out of the loop with Bridgit recently, but that's cool she has so much unreleased material on the verge of coming out! I'm looking forward to checking them out. Also, I agree with you that I doubt we'll get new music from Bridgit again. Considering she's getting her Ph.D and J.D. at the same time (plus I was reading the other day she's apparently just joined the Harvard Space Law Organization) I'm not sure how she even has any time to sleep, so I imagine music is probably the last thing on her mind lol. Although I'd love her to release new music, I feel like "Diving" was a really good song to go out on. Honestly, the song's vibe of reflecting on what could have been is a great metaphor for how her fanbase has to live vicariously through all her unreleased tracks now lol.

Honestly, the song's vibe of reflecting on what could have been is a great metaphor for how her fanbase has to live vicariously through all her unreleased tracks now lol. I've heard a snippet of "Loyalties", one of the other cut songs from Nemesis, and it sounds... just as underwhelming as "Flowers" and "Cold" which comes as a shock to me considering Nemesis is such a strong project and the three standalones that followed were astonishing (even the remix of "Diving" has a special place in my heart, I love when a remix can completely flip a song on its head). That being said, the snippet that I heard of the studio version of "Oxygen" sounds promising! It's surprisingly poppy, and kinda blends the sounds of something like "Timeless" from the Hollywood Records sessions with "Snap My Fingers". The song was intended for Nemesis but was written in 2015, so it almost exists in a space between those two projects. There's probably around twenty songs still circulating that haven't leaked yet but I hope they trickle out quickly. It'd be interesting to hear some scraps from Hello My Name Is..., since she performed one during a tour with Shane Harper ("Talk To Me", which exists in a really low quality live recording on YouTube that brings me right back to 2011), but I'm especially eager to hear more from the second Hollywood Records album, the Nemesis sessions and the standalones era. I also love that "Diving" was the last song she released because it parallels "Atlantis", since they both follow a water theme and were released exactly one year apart. It almost makes me think she only ever intended to release those seven songs, but that seems unlikely considering she did a Facebook Live shortly after the release of "Diving" saying she planned on releasing more standalone singles more often while studying in order to gauge interactions for studies she was conducting... ugh, how I wish I lived in that timeline.

That's unfortunate to hear. Part of what I loved about Nemesis was the experimental production style, so the dark and brooding instrumentals in "Cold" and "Flowers" is a large factor of why those two songs don't do much for me (although the lyrics for "Cold" are also arguably not as strong as the rest of Nemesis). Exciting that "Oxygen" is more upbeat though, I'm looking forward to hearing it! I'd forgotten about "Talk to Me," but that would be so cool to hear the studio versions of some of the scrapped Hello My Name Is... songs! I'm also eager to hear more from the second Hollywood Records album, although I'd say I'm most excited to hear anything that's unreleased from the standalone era. To my knowledge, I don't think any titles from that era have been revealed, so I'm not sure if any of those were even recorded. The three tracks that were released from that era were immaculate, so it'd be amazing if we could hear anything else from that era! Yeah, in addition to the water and date synchronicities, I also really like how the two eras feel very full-circle showing the cycle of love - "Atlantis" shows us how her heart is hardened and she's resistant to ever falling in love again, while "Diving" is her becoming open to the idea of love again, as she reflects on it what it felt like. All the parallels between the two makes "Diving" feel like such an oddly satisfying end to her discography. Omg, I hadn't seen that Facebook Live, but Bridgit continuing her music career through releasing songs for research experiments would be incredible! I doubt it will ever happen, but now I can only hope she gets a third doctoral degree so she can base all her research projects around music lol.
