It's catchy, but Carly Pearce already covered this topic and executed it better with her song of the same name.

Yayyy! It's been a while since she released this so I was concerned it wouldn't get a radio push. Love the song.
I would love for it to at least chart - even if it's like for a week or two in the 50s lol It's crazy to think that she even though she has a number one country album released in 2017, her last single to chart was in 2012...

I think this is going to struggle to chart... She missed her window I think for country radio success and Warner Bros has way more whiffs than successes at radio with new artists recently.

Yeah I don't see this doing much. There have been constant Warner Bros artist that have flopped (Walker County, Trea Landon, Robyn Ottolini, Troy Cartwtight, Drew Parker) and I don't see this being any different as I don't get the sense radio taking to this.

I agree with others in not being too terribly optimistic about this one's chances. She's been around for so long now and had such sporadic releases with minimal promotional effort, especially towards radio, that I'm not sure I see anything sticking at this point. That said, she does have a decent following and has made a few decent waves via the sales/streaming department with songs in the past, so she does have at least some pull with an audience out there. So I wouldn't be too surprised at her getting a run into the 30s or 40s of the country charts as a result.
I also think there's like a good 3-4 songs on the EP that are better than this, so I am a little disappointed to see them finally decide to push something from The Woman I've Become... only for it to be this song that I find a bit on the meh side. "Not in Love with You" sounded like her best chance at getting a hit, and it's a far superior song imo.
All that aside, she is definitely someone who's music I've been enjoying as of late. Her Southern Girl City Lights record from 2017 was honestly fantastic, and her latest EP is really solid as well. She really has the look of a star and some great material, so it'll definitely come down to how well Warner does with promoting her.

She used to be fantastic but now she sucks. What a lame song... she doesn't deserve success with this kind of junk IMO.

She used to be fantastic but now she sucks. What a lame song... she doesn't deserve success with this kind of junk IMO. This is a bit harsh, but I do agree that her music used to be so fresh. Her debut album was so overtly pop with country elements/references, and I think that made her stand out (vs many artists being country with pop elements/references). Her last song that interested me was from 2010 (how was this 12 years ago :o ), but she was one of my favorites back then:

Good news this is the most added song of the week, bad news it is with 17 adds and 19 total stations by add week. Among newer artists that is on the lower end. Obviously this song is not DOA but I do think it is gonna be a very tough road for this song to succeed if the add date is any indicator.

10 years between appearances. Not my favourite song of hers but I’m glad to see her name back on a chart!

Surprised it took this long with as big of a following as she has, but better late than never! I also agree that this isn't one of her better songs, but I certainly won't complain if this hits for her and opens the door for a song I like more from her to receive airplay after it.

Honestly I don’t even really pay that much attention to adds date especially if it’s over 10/15 adds these days. The charts are so weird and chart runs are getting longer and longer (even longer for an artist without radio momentum.) I’m not sure this will be a big hit but if it is, it will be a lonnng ride lol

What the heck is that music video? She just walks alongside the road to get to a mansion and strip and not even finish stripping to then jump in the pool?
Very confused.
Also, this song is so bad. Major enunciation issues in the vocal as well for me. I am surprised this charted.

With 4 adds total on the past 4 weeks, I guess this isn't going anywhere.
