Insider on Twitter said her opening act is a male and she’s already shared the stage with him this year. I assume that means in the form of a festival.
Normally I don’t trust these type of accounts, but he also tweeted last year she would have a residency ahead of the Vegas residency announcement and when the dates would be and said a new single spring 2022 and a headline tour October of 2022. And he was correct with both the Vegas residency/dates and the single release date. So take that as you will.

Was not expecting another Fall 2022 concert in the budget, but oh well!
Hopefully announcement includes Friday presale for fan club. Good thing this coming Friday is a payday.
If she comes to MN this Fall, I’ll see her three times in a year. Dec ‘21 Vegas, August ‘22 Iowa state fair, and D&R Tour.

I actually haven’t listened to radio too much lately (so I couldn’t even tell you five guys that it could possibly be) but I do like Jimmie Allen so I’m hoping it’s him!

I mean, yeah, but she has done/does do that, consistently. And she did it on her last tour. Can’t pigeonhole her into strictly touring with females forever, nor can the burden to help break more women into higher echelons of their careers solely be on her. I don’t disagree that she has a platform, but not touring with a woman as direct support this go-around doesn’t mean she’s not using it well enough. She uses her platform to help women, and country artists of color. |

While I agree with what you’re saying, I don’t think hiring women as opening acts for the sake of hiring women is the goal, either. We don’t know what went into the decision they made for the opener, but there’s intense scheduling demands and label/management affiliations all to consider, too. Aside from that, Carrie has done A LOT for women in country music and the work she and lots of others put in over the years shows. Women have been doing exceptionally well as of late in country music, lots of radio success and accolades for the ladies recently, it’s a beautiful thing! There’s still work to do, but it’s not necessarily Carrie’s work. Carrie advocates and promotes women in country music in so many ways; countless ladies have spoken about how Carrie reached out whenever they started their families, got married, divorced, bereaved, etc.. She supports her comrades in their everyday lives; by befriending and mentoring. Professionally and personally Carrie has done so much for country music in general, especially for the ladies. I don’t think taking a male opener on tour is the disservice to women some might make it out to be… |

Vinyl pressing has been severely backed up since the middle of the height of COVID. Artists have been needing to implement delayed, estimated delivery schedules for purchases when they put them up for sale on multiple outlets. This honestly just might be her/her team’s strategy in figuring out how much they should/can press in a first batch, before expanding.
I’m sure it’ll be available on Amazon, Target, etc. this summer/fall.
