Yea this song might be a little cheesy and boring, but I kind of did not mind this and I liked the instrumental. I hinted this was next when I mentioned the song name when I said You guys, but I don't think anyone would have caught on to it.

We lose another number 1 at 42!! the 2nd number 1 loss. But this one is interesting, as this number 1 loss is the ONLY top 10, and... this song was in the lowest SDs for a while at the start including the lowest at one point, and was as low as 49th place at one time, until later on some polarizing opinions came and now made this song in the middle of the SD pack. Mainly because of the 1 rank. 2 people also lose a 50.

I think it had a #8. Nowadays, I think it would unfortunately be a lot higher, if the 2000's poll comments are any indicator, and would maybe even contest for the highest SD in 2009. That wouldn't be horribly shocking, I know that the 2014 year end was remade and the original #100 wasn't even in the bottom 20 in the remake. |

41. Big Mountain - Baby I Love Your Way
I knew this would be low, and unpopular but this is the best version of this song and started loving it since I heard it on the movie Jumanji. I think this is overhated and is a very nice cover.

50. I don't even remember "One More Try," but lmao I'm shocked to see that I ranked it at #40. I forgot a lot of my rankings as I did them so long ago. This isn't/didn't do much for me though, so I thought I would have ranked this lower. But ooof, sorry to ilikemilk on losing their #1 right at the start. That's harsh. :( 49. Even though I had Emilia's "Big Big World" at #42, I'm fine with this ranking for it. This was a cute and easy listening song, but it didn't do much or stand out much for me while listening to this with others. Pleased to lose my first Bottom 10 rank though. 48. I don't remember Chesney Hawkes' "The One And Only" at all and with my #46 ranking, it seems I didn't care for this. And re-listening to it, I still don't care for it. Not sure if I ranked it too high or whatnot but fine with it leaving here. 47. Stiltskin's "Inside" is another song I don't remember and listening to it again, yeah I don't regret my #48 ranking for this. I don't really care for this and yeah not my cup of tea at all. Yay for my lowest rankings showing up and getting lower as it continues. Although my Bottom 2 can show up now, lol. Although darn so close to a perfect ranking, haha. 46. Ooh yayy now my #47 goes.  Although lmao my 46-48-47 all going out in a row here. I didn't really care for Beverly Craven's "Promise Me" but listening to it again, I should have ranked it higher than that Chesney song. It's a really pretty song and guess it's something that I need to listen to more for it to grow on me. 45. Ooof, darn I guess I was due to lose a ~higher'ish ranking now. Aww I liked Maria McKee's "Show Me Heaven" hence my ranking of it at #30. It's not a favorite of mine but a song I would have liked and thought would have ranked higher. Poor nathanalbright losing his #2 and #3. 44. Ahh now I lost my #29 with Shawn Mullins' "Lullaby." Hmm this was a song I remember when it was out though it wasn't ever a big favorite of mine. It's alright. Hmm re-listening to it, I'm not really feeling the verses here. But the chorus is good and catchy, which again probably helped. I guess its ranking benefits from me knowing the song well. Without it, I probably wouldn't have ranked it as high as I did. 43. Don't know Ten Sharp's "You," but darn it, I had this ranked at #44 and was just one spot off from a perfect ranking once AGAIN. Lmao I'm always so close. Don't really care for this so I'm fine with it bowing out here. Good on this not getting any #50s. 42. Don't know Merril Bainbridge's "Mouth" but I see I ranked this at #43, which ugh ANOTHER just one spot off from a perfect rank. This is so frustrating, lmao. Anyway, this song is alright but doesn't really do much for me. It's cute but there isn't too much to it. I don't know if I ranked it too high or low but think I'm fine with this ranking as of now. 41. Hmm I'm alright with Big Mountain's "Baby I Love Your Way" as I had this at #39. I do kinda know this song but it's probably other versions I know better than this version? It's nice and got an interesting song. Maybe I could have ranked it higher but still not a favorite of mine. Whoa, I'm 6th in the closeness rankings with a 5.5. :o I still don't really understand this but I'm doing much better here in closeness than in the other rankdown I was in (where I was in the Bottom 5 or so). :haha: |

Humorously enough, Chesney Hawkes is someone I actually have had personal interactions with and he's a cool dude, and both my two and three are songs that are pretty heavy on my list of 90's nostalgia YouTube plays. I became familiar with Show Me Heaven because of the Tina Arena cover and really liked the original as well. As a fan of Adult Contemporary music in general I tend to be more fond of ballads and soundtrack pop than most people, I think.

Fiiine I guess I at least helped Lullaby escape the bottom five. Even though it's great! His voice somehow gets me through the talk-singing, and idk I guess he sounds genuine to me. Macarena lasting a lil too long though...
The rest of this bottom ten was the super boring songs I expected, so no other complaints here. I'll save them for my inevitable awful top half lol
