Probably won't come back to the entire album often since it's so long but it was a good listen. Although it was a long album, it never felt like the album got stuck in one mode for too long; I was initially scared that his stripped-back production would get boring after a while but there were more produced tracks sprinkled in between. 55-60k are great numbers especially looking at how most major country artists have fared recently on the albums front (granted this one has way more tracks than other albums)!
My initial favorites are (in no particular order): "Billy Stay" "Open the Gate" "Something in the Orange" "From Austin" "Oklahoma City" "No Cure"

I'm glad Zach Bryan will be topping the country albums chart, even for just one week. We certainly need a change there. Meanwhile, picking up stations and spins:

Final HDD numbers: 6,777 pure sales and 70,040 SPS. #5 overall. And they'll probably never send a single out to Country Radio..

I’m very curious to see how it hold ups in coming weeks since I don’t see his other albums charting like Luke’s and Morgan’s old ones, granted I know they’re all low fi acoustic types, (and not 34 songs) but still with his fanbase I thought I’d see then somewhere every now and then??…

Yeah, that's true.. Though, I feel like playing shows with Luke Combs would help. And programmers would have to pay attention to the massive streaming numbers he puts up.

It basically doesn't matter how many streams or sales an artist gets, if nothing ever drops in that PlayMPE feed, programmers will never play it. I'm just saying that if an "official" radio single was designated and at least sent out to Country Radio, Zach Bryan's shows opening for Luke Combs and streaming success would make him stand out from the crowd a bit.
