This one is a total dud for me. From the muddy sounding bassline to her vocal, it just doesn't come close to capturing the evocativeness of Linda's version.

This was one I expected to be better and made to me more of a heartfelt country vibe to it so they could promote this to country audiences (radio probably would never pick this up but could get something in country publications, country geared televised performances like she’s done in the past etc.) but this is one that disappointed me a bit. What would’ve made these even more appealing to radio is if they had features (similar to Dont Rush with Vince Gill, Don’t You Wanna Stay with Jason Aldean etc.)

I actually love her on this but I think I would have swapped this for “Dancing Queen” and moved it to the final track.

If the EP didn't have so many stellar vocal moments I think I'd be over the moon about this (and I'm admittedly only vaguely familiar with Linda's original, which probably makes it easier for me to overlook any shortcomings by way of comparison), but following this up with...basically every other song on the EP all but guaranteed BB would feel like the weakest of the bunch to most. She does sound great here though, and I actually like the more subdued approach to it.

I don't mind this actually. Nice cover, but nobody can touch Linda's version. I also remember when Voice winner Alisan Porter covered this several years ago, her version was very good.

This reminds me how much I need Kelly to do a full country album! Her voice sounds so pretty here.
